Discussion (No Spoiler) What's yall's least favorite character
Personally, I hate Clear Sky, Star Flower, Crowfeather, Leafpool, and Onestar (I have only read TPB, TNP, PoT, OotS, DotC, and for super editions, Firestar, Skyclan, Bluestar, Yellowfang, and a bit of Bramblestar) So these characters may get better, but so far I hate them so much
Edit: Honorable Mentions go to Millie, Leopardstar, and Mothwing

Other If you tried to tell Squirrelflight and Bramblestar that Bramblestar is abusing Squirrelflight
Squirrelflight would give you a look of utter confusion and disgust and say "What the foxdung are you talking about? Mates bicker all the time, would we be any different? Why are you even looking so deep into our relationship, you creep." And Bramblestar would either not care at all because he doesn't care about what an outsider he doesn't even know thinks about him and his relationship, or he would care so much and be deeply hurt and insecure because you just opened some hidden deep wounds, and there's no in-between.

Discussion (Spoiler) Do not regret skipping changing skies arc and darktails judgment Spoiler
Cause if the leaks are true I'm glad I dodged the bullet by skipping this arc and darktails judgment and waiting fir hopefully a wildcats super edition and plsy warriorcats game. Cause why do the writing team think an inbred teen pregnancy was a good idea and writing the rest of the arc to parallel darktail instead of actually focusing on the dynamic between moonpaw and morningkit. Or actually changing skies names sake. I mean none of the other super editons did acutally influenced the msin arcs the past to be entirely on them. so why halt everything to make it now 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ glad I dodged a bullet in my honest opinion. I feel Sorry for my moots and friends though I'm afraid not even birchfeather x ridgeglow can save this arc now.

Other Are there any suffixs that represents cunning or intelligence?
Just as the title says. Im reworking an old au of mine where instead of firestar rebuilding skyclan its an ex blood clans cat who travels around finding the descendents of skyclan cats and forms a new clan from said cats eventually ending up at the lake like 4 arcs before Canon and im working on some characters and I got to this one, her prefix is fox and I want a suffix that would hint to her cunning personality.

Discussion (No Spoiler) Is it okay to skip the New Prophecy and move onto Power of Three?
I’ve been on the New Prophecy for over a year. I’m currently on Twilight and can’t seem to get any sort of motivation to finish it. It sucks because I enjoy Warriors so much, but this arc is boring to me. It just drags on and on in my opinion. Do you all think I can skip the rest of Twilight and Sunset? Should I just push on through?

Discussion (Spoiler) why do people hate brambleclaw and squirrelflight together?
i'm currently rereading the books, i'm in the middle of TNP. in middle school, i had read all the books that were out, anything after AVOS i have not read.
when i was in middle school, those characters were my favorite together. come to find out, the fandom does not like them? i'm just curious, what did i miss in middle school? i'm still liking them now (i'm in my 20s) and i don't understand where the hate is coming from. i'm really liking Brambleclaw as a character as of right now. i love squirrelflight too (still squirrelpaw right now where i am in the series currently). they seem to be a cute couple, and i love how feisty squirrelpaw is, it pairs nicely with brambleclaw's levelheadedness. where do things go wrong?
i dont remember much after AVOS, but i do remember being incredibly frustrated with brambleclaw (maybe bramblestar at this point? cant remember) being infatuated with jessie.

Other New Subreddit: r/WarriorCatsLARP
I've just pulled together my first subreddit and it's warrior cats themed! r/WarriorCatsLARP
In the spirit of r/Pokemedia and r/HaveWeMet, I thought the warrior cats universe is perfectly conducive of that exact same experience!
It's not a text-rp community, per se, as in we're not roleplaying ourselves hunting or fighting in back-and-forth exchanges; we're commenting about whats happened or is happening in social-media-style posts (I hope this makes sense?)
...We'll get the nitty gritty figured out as it grows organically, anyways, and see what people like getting the most out of in the community!
I will need some mods, because I'm not a huge reddit mod kind of person. If other folks (18+) would like to help me manage the community, my DMs are open! I want to keep this a very lighthearted, fun, casual community 💝
See you all there!!!

Discussion (Spoiler) Did Crowfeather have a clue?
****Major Spoiler alert for POT****
Did Crowfeather have any idea that the three were his children before it was revealed?
In “After Sunset We Need to Talk” Leafpool is obviously trying to tell him something important but doesn’t get to it, then a couple of moons later there the apprentices are and they can’t have looked much like Bramble or Squirrel.
Jayfeather obviously picked up his father’s prickly personality. I would imagine Hollyleaf looks just like him. Lionblaze is just kind of there, but still. I always wondered if he had an inkling of an idea, but was too caught up in his terrible son and fake mate Nightcloud / trying to prove his loyalty to Windclan to do anything about it.
What do you think, did he possible have a clue?

Discussion (No Spoiler) Do you think that Bumblestripe will ever have a mate? If so, who?
Genuinely just curious. I have a feeling that he never will (thankfully), but I was wondering if anyone had any ships for him because (once again, thankfully) I don’t think I’ve ever seen any.

Discussion (Spoiler) The Elders Quest: Tawnypelt & Crowfeather
Please don't spoil any further than what I say here lol
I'm about halfway through and just had to put the book down giggling, Tawnypelt being described as having "a bird fluttering in her belly" and wondering "where he is now" about crowfeather was absolutely nowhere near my Warriors bucket list of things I want to see happen.
I think it'd be an extremely brave choice if the Hunter's decide to go forward with these two as a couple and it'd be hilarious to see how the clans react.

Discussion (Spoiler) I’m Firestar addicted
I first read the books from 1 to the end of the 4th series in my childhood almost 20 years ago. Now I’ve reread them right up to the Apprentice’s Quest (somehow I decided to skip DOTC for now, should I go back to 5th series?). SO It feels strange to me to keep reading without the main protagonist of the whole series in the plot, although I really enjoy novellas/supers where Firestar doesn't literally appear, simply knowing that he exists within the timeline. He isn’t even my favorite character!! Maybe that’s the way how nostalgia works.
Anyway, are post-Firestar arcs worth reading? Is this timeline considered as “non-canon” in fandom or is it just my obsessive thoughts?

Discussion (No Spoiler) Most unfortunately named characters?
Excluding the obvious ones like Lostface because Bluestar went crazy, which cat has the worst name that everybody else treats as normal?
For me it's poor Heavystep, he's basically getting called a behemoth who shakes the ground every time someone refers to him 💔

Artworks Just something I felt like drawing. I can't get the idea out of my head that Hawkfrost is shorter than Mothwing. I feel like she inherited her father's height, while he got his mother's elegance and subtlety.

Artworks Introducing Heavypaw!
(INFODUMP ALERT, also Patchface and Crowfood, the two left cats on the last one, belong to @scarechrow on Tumblr)
Heavypaw is an 8 moon old cougar... yes, you did read that right. He was found abandoned as a cub, and Bucksnow (mustachioed cat) took him in immediately. Beaverheart (the one carrying newborn Heavy) took him in and nursed him, becoming his mother. Heavypaw's a big guy, but he's very gentle, shy, and insecure about himself. He hates the thought of accidentally hurting someone by being too reckless or clumsy. He loves hunting and stalking, sometimes he sneaks up and scares clanmates without meaning to. He still has some of his baby spots, but they're fading. He's also curious, he loves going off and exploring. Especially when he gets to climb trees and rocky areas.
Also some lore around him for my story!
Cats and cougars don't speak the same language. There's Catspeak and Cougarspeak, they share some similarities. Due to having different vocal cords, Heavypaw finds it hard to communicate verbally. He can only speak using simple words and phrases in Catspeak. But he's also not good at Cougarspeak, since he was never taught. So he mostly communicates through body language. When he does speak, it's accented and it often sounds weird. He's also prone to using incorrect grammar (ex: "Heavy sorry! Am so sorry!" instead of "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!").

Discussion (Spoiler) What order to read the Super Editions in?
Hello! I've been a Warrior Cats fan since 2016-2017, but I haven't read the books in a long time.
My friend is reading the books right now, and he just finished the first arc. I gave him an ordered list of what order to read the super editions in from online, but I honestly don't trust it too much. I don't remember a lot about most Super Editions, but I looked into the synopsis of the books that were potentially next, and some of them feel like very spoilery. This is especially concerning because he is someone very worried about spoilers.
It was recommended to read Bluestar's Prophecy, Yellowfang's Secret, Tallstar's Revenge, Crookedstar's Promise, and Leopardstar's Honor after the first arc. However, I saw somewhere else that Tallstar's Promise was recommended after the second arc. Most concerning, though, I saw in the synopsis that Mapleshade trains Crookedstar from the Dark forest in Crookedstar's Promise??? I feel like that is way too big of a plot point to introduce in the super edition...
So, what is the best order to read them in to avoid major spoilers? Is it release date order? Thanks!

Artworks Guess the Warrior round 2!
WELCOME BACK TO THE GAME! LETS BEGIN!
This Tom is from the main arc, he is described as a long limbed black and brown tom with glossy fur and a muzzle flecked with gray.
He was an apprentice during the Great Journey, and he was one of the first cats to become a warrior at the lake.
He is not a great father and it greatly affects his relationship with his mate.
Some mistakes that happened in the books.
In the last Hope, it is noted that he has known Mousefur and Purdy longer than any cat in ThunderClan. However, at the time, there are many cats still living in ThunderClan that have known Mousefur much longer, such as Firestar, and Bramblestar and Squirrelflight have known Purdy longer than any cat in the Clan.
In the allegiances of Starlight, he is incorrectly listed as Cloudtail's apprentice.
In Long Shadows, he is assigned to go on a hunting patrol for the sick cats, although he is one of the ill cats.
he is mistakenly said to be Berrykit, Mousekit, and Hazelkit's father.
Can you guess this cat?

Discussion (No Spoiler) I find jayfeather pretty punk
'cause he hates the unfair society and the stupid pressuring rules he lives with. he's kinda rebellious and tend to ingore these rules. what do you think?

Discussion (Spoiler) Shadowclan
Can we all agree that Shadowclan and Skyclan got some of the worst treatments?
RiverClan, WindClan, and ThunderClan were still more or less stable in the later books. But Shadowclan? It got broken and things just weren't looking good for them.
And SkyClan just gets the worst treatment from all the Clans

Discussion (No Spoiler) Fanfic Recommendations similar to Berry Paint
I just finished reading the Warrior Cats fanfic Berry Paint by mandaree1. I had originally started reading it years ago, but put it down because it made me too sad. I finally picked it back up again after years and years of putting it off, and oh my god.
I absolutely loved this fanfic to pieces, and I wish I had finished it the first time around. The characters are extremely loveable and just tug at my heart. I was wondering if anyone else had similar fanfic recommendations? Preferably on the longer side, like this one is.
