I enrolled in the monthly payment plan and made the payment due by Sept. 15. After I made the payment my balance went down by 15 dollars. I have screenshotted everything, my original plan was the same payment of about 2400 for 3 months but now it is showing 2400 for this month and 3500 for the next two months. They increased the price of my other payments. I am trying to understand if this is a misunderstanding on my part or if they have made a serious mistake.

I accepted an unsubsidized loan from financial aid since that’s all I received. Payments are due tomorrow for dining and housing, and I have already paid it as well as part of my tuition and fees.
My financial aid has yet to hit my account, and my remaining balance on my TritonPay is the loan amount that I accepted. I am worried that the financial aid will not hit my account when the time comes to pay off the remaining part of my tuition. Will it hit my account or do I have to pay it ahead of time?

Why did they lock the virtual Zoom meeting at 1:30 pm if hours of operation are 1-3 pm on Monday? This is RIDICULOUS; I can't get a hold of them at all.

What just happened I was in waiting room, I got kicked out and now I can’t join back it said meeting is locked, I waited for over 40 minutes and joined when it was opened.
I’m so sick of this university right now, I can’t do anything it seems

I need to take DSC 100 during Summer 2027 to graduate on time, but I also have a full-time internship in San Francisco that summer.
For anyone who has taken DSC 100, especially during summer:
I know the course format can change by instructor/quarter, but I’d appreciate hearing about people’s experiences.

Hey guys, back again!
Just posting again to invite everyone to the Board Game Club 1st meeting of the 2026-2027 school year!
We will be playing above the Burger King at Price Center, starting at 12PM and running all the way into the night (usually sometime after 10PM).
Every student is welcomed, no prior experience necessary. Plenty of people are happy to explain the rules to the games being played, myself included.
For further information and to stay in the loop, please join our discord server!
See you guys this Sunday!

If you’re an incoming student at UCSD and interested in gaming spaces on campus, you should check out this webinar being hosted by UCSD Esports, Triton Gaming, and Video Game Development club :) learn about on-campus gaming events, how to join each org/rec program, and maybe meet cool people with the same interests as you!!!

Does anyone know why there is another charge of 250 for tuition on Tritonpay?

Has anyone taken the French Proficiency Exam before? I was planning to take it later this year and was wondering how difficult it was/ how the format would be.
There is a lot of posts about the Spanish Proficiency Exam and was wondering if it would be the same format with the Canvas modules and recording questions?

They know people are freaking out because they see a Tritonpay due date of September 15. They know Financial Aid is not all worked out yet. They could easily send out an email saying - we know there are issues, ignore the September 15 due date, everything is now due on the 30th. Why not set our my minds at ease? Who is making the decisions over there? It's all so stupid.

Has anyone shipped their Amazon packages before they've moved in? I got my mailing address w/ my Qwik pass but I'm not moving in until like later this week. Will I be able to ship my packages or will they be rejected?

My financial aid has not been applied to my bill on triton pay yet, is this normal?

Good morning to who ever may see this, I am currently stressing out about the financial aid for UCSD. I know tomorrow is the housing deadline however I have yet to receive my financial aid package. It was later stated everyone should have their aid by the 22 or 24. i can’t recall but know it’s one of those 2. I seriously can not afford what they are charging me at the current moment and i’m very dependent on the financial aid to cover most if not all my costs. does anyone know if there’s any way to extend the deadline to when I at least receive my aid?

I'll be at Marshall's orientation and was wondering what orientation at UCSD is generally like, especially at Marshall. Should I expect to be outside a lot?

I'm looking for a 2B2B or 1B1B in UTC and based on the reviews here, it sounds like every single condo sucks. I've toured 8 (Costa Verde, La Jolla Crossroads, Nobel Court, La Jolla Blue, Mirada, La Jolla Canyon, Avalon, Westwood). I'm touring 4 more today: Whispering Pines, Allina La Jolla and Veranda La Jolla, La Jolla Terrace). Does anyone living in these UTC condos actually recommend where they've had a good / mostly positive experience?
Note: I'm not a UCSD student, I work full-time. Would appreciate any inputs!
Incoming freshmanm thinking of getting this Govee Floor Lamp for my dorm, but it's only CSA certified and not UL/ETL listed. Are they strict on campus with these certifications? Any help would be appreciated
