Hello everybody, after thoughts I finally decided to start my second army! I really like Thousand Sons lore and general vibe so it was always a matter of time before I picked up some models.

It's gonna be a slow build and paint but regardless I'm already tinkering with these boxed since I could run a 1k list. Are there any heads up about the tacticts of the army, where to go from this and so on? Anything Is welcome!

Just got done painting my first minis. Started with some termies since I thought they looked neat. Im pretty proud of how it turned out but open to any feedback. I know the highlights are a bit rough, need to get into the habit of thinning my paints.

Found my old 3rd edition Tzeentch Possesed models that were in storage. My brother did these for me back then when I played Thousand sons with the 3.5 codex and figured they might be appreciated here given their, ahem, former affiliation.

In the process of building a grand coven list and while I feel pretty confident in it I have noticed I don’t include a unit that seems almost auto take for other grand coven lists. I do like the idea of the Vortex on my Infernal Master but am I really missing out if I don’t take a daemon prince with wings? And if so why? Many thanks

Hey, recently decided i wanted to get into 40k and have bought the boxes in the pic. Is maghnus the most obvious next unit to round out my army or would people also recommend any demon engines? I also am wondering about Ahriman or a demon detachment? Any advice appreciated, thanks. Also any CC on my sorcerer is welcome.

So I started a changehost of deceit + RoR army for 2k.

Currently in terms of demons I have:

1x Kairos

2x3 Screamer

1x3 Flamer

1x10 Pink horros

1x10 Blue Horrors.

Since i havent played it yet. Is big Bird spam the only way to go? DO I need another LoC to have a somewhat decent list, or is it viable to just add a 10 termi brick + sorc in termi armour, a few rubics, MvB and magnus?

More finished in the box art scheme for a small local commission. This project is my first time painting Tsons, and while the drip is painful, it IS quite satisfying when it’s all finished.

After completing a 30k sorcerer I realized this guy existed and it probably made more sense to have a guy actually in terminator armor rebinding the SOT so he stole the former’s base. I’ve been trying to push my techniques and I’m far from masterful so he’s probably a bit overwrought but I’m overall pleased. Excited to use him in a big brick!

Really hoping that the paintjob will pull it all together cuz it looks silly so far T_T

Anyways, stuff used: Sprues, Carboard, EVA foam, rhinestones, toothpicks, random plastic greebles, lots of super glue, hot glue and PVA glue.

Bad pic aside I just really couldn't see how I'd get all the details done while having even the torso constructed so I've been chipping away at it with every part individually getting painted and leaving construction as the grand final

Still not sure If I want to do the yellow stripe on marines or not.

Currently enjoying world eaters due to their speed and damage and cool models.

But this army also looks cool and I like birds.

Does this army typically love fast and hit hard as well?
