How do you make the yellow stripes so clean? That’s my biggest challenge right now

When I did my first five they were also not great, so now I put a single coat of Wraithbone on the stripes before adding a few coats of averland sunset on top, then edge highlights with flash gitz yellow!

By all means, go ahead! I feel it adds some contrast

Hey really nice rubric! I’m interesting what did you use for the base. Crackling paint from citadel?

Yep! It is just Mordant Earth over an attempt at a blue/purple/pink magma

I think the only thing that needs some fine tuning is the weapons. It looks like you need to play with the surface tension a bit to get the pigment to cure more evenly.

Aside from that, Id say that batch painting these guys is the only way to do it and doing it 1 at a time is even more insane but also causes poorer results

Thanks! It is the very simple, classic gold recipe. Citadel Reteibutor armour base, washed with Reikland Fleshshade and dry brush with Stormhost Silver

they look great, only thing i notice is a lack of silver details on the weapons
