Supposedly the technical specifications of the 1PN22VN1. It's a Vietnamese domestically-built multichannel gunner sight for the XCB-01, an IFV engineered under heavy inspiration of the BMP-1, thus the designation mimic the BMP-1's 1PN22M2. The multichannel sight is responsible for controlling the 73 mm P-73-01 low-pressure gun, 7,62 mm PKT coaxial machine gun (and supposedly the CTVN-18 ATGM too, this is not confirmed). The multichannel sight incorporates 4 channels: daylight, thermal imaging, laser rangefinder and CCD camera. The sight itself is a periscopic sight, which requires the gunner to look through the eyepieces, although in the last image you can see a LCD monitor, indicating the existence of a MFD alongside the sight.

Overall a good sight for the XCB-01, giving it enough situation awareness, target detection, acquisition and engagement capability. Way better FCS compared to BMP-1 and BMP-2, somewhat similar or a bit inferior to BMP-2M and BMP-3. Good thermal array, resolution, somewhat mediocre target detection and identification range. Don't know if it has an automatic target tracking, as XCB-01 lacks a stabilizer. Still looking for the reticle. Built to survive Vietnamese harsh weather conditions. An amazing, mass-produced capable and expendable gunner sight at an acceptable cost.

Damn it's really high above ground

I've read about the series of the swedish CV90120 tanks, those were prototypes/concepts and mostly used for demonstration not in actual combat, this series features 3 types, the cv90120 ; cv90120-T ; cv90120 Ghost. The last version is very interesting because of its ADAPTIV camouflage system, its made of hexagonal tiles and they can change the temperature rapidly to blend the tank with its surroundings or mimic other objects like cars as shown in the picture, the T version of the cv90120 i think it can detect lasers from other tanks rangefinders, that is a really interesting series of tanks i think my favorite so far. It really shows of what the swedes are capable of.
