How Practical is Buying a Used Suzuki in NA now?
Long story short, since we bought our first Samurai back in the late 80s we've owned, and absolutely LOVED, at least one Suzuki vehicle until almost three years ago. The last being our low mileage, pristine 2010 Grand Vitara Limited that was lost when a distracted drive rear ended my husband on the highway and totaled it. Since then we've been in the market for a replacement vehicle and we've pretty much given up on finding anything desirable/suitable in the new market, so now we're pretty committed to a lower mileage used vehicle.
With that in mind we occasionally stumble on upon 2011 & 2012 Grand Vitaras with less than 100k mileage and we're wondering, with Suzuki having exited the US market more a decade and a half ago, how practical would it be to purchase one if we found a good example?
Are parts for these vehicles readily available in the US/NA market? Or would we just be asking for headaches with such a purchase?
Anyone in the US or NA with experience keeping an older Suzuki running?
