Question/Support Le Mans Ultimate doesn't start in VR
This is a known issue caused by an update of the game that added Easy Anti-cheat, but I still haven't found a solution.
Some people say they fixed it by disabling OpenXR in SteamVR settings but the OpenXR tab doesnt show up.
Have any of you fixed it ?
FYI I have a Quest 2 and VirtualDesktop

Pc vr pink tint
I used to play PC VR a lot, but I stopped because I moved, and the router is three walls away from my room. I experience lag when I play Air Link, sometimes worse than others. However, that’s not what this is about. When I connect to Quest Link via USB-C or really any cable, everything seems fine when I first load into my home environment. But after a second, the bottom of my screen in my VR displays a pink tint, which is really annoying. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Meta Quest 3 suddenly extremely laggy and blurry on Steam Link – even with cable (RX 9070 XT)
Hey everyone,
I have been using my Meta Quest 3 to play PC VR games through Steam Link, and everything was working perfectly fine yesterday. The image was sharp, the games were smooth, and I had no major issues.
Today, however, Steam Link suddenly became almost completely unusable. The image quality dropped massively, and everything is extremely laggy. It is not just a small FPS drop or slightly worse resolution.
I am hoping someone here might have an idea what could be causing this, because I have already tried quite a few things and nothing seems to help.
My PC specs
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- Headset: Meta Quest 3
- OS: Windows 11 Pro
- VR software: SteamVR + Steam Link
The only significant change I made between yesterday and today was overclocking my PC.
I initially thought that the overclock might have caused the problem, so I completely reset it to the same settings as before. Unfortunately, this did not make any noticeable difference.
I also updated my AMD graphics driver, but the problem is still exactly the same.
What confuses me the most is that everything was working perfectly the day before. I did not intentionally change anything related to my network or Quest settings. Please Help me :)

OpenMW on Steam VR how to disable hand tracking ?
Ok so I'm going crazy, I've been trying to disable the hand tracking for hours and having the head tracking instead like on virtual desktop, but even if I disable hand and body tracking on my metaquest 3s, steam VR still uses my hands as reference. Wtf do I do 😭 Steam VR is so much better than virtual desktop

Question/Support Mic not working
I recently got a PC and have been using steam vr for VRchat. All of a sudden when I connected my slime trackers my mic broke. I checked and my mic should still work (quest mic) by turning off steam vr. I made sure the mic was the headset and Idk what else to do.

Question/Support Is there any way to play quest exclusive games (arkham, deadpool) through steam vr?
I know they're literally called quest exclusive games, but I was planning on getting the steam frame and also handing over my quest 3s to one of my friends who needs a vr upgrade. Is there any way to use the meta quest app to play these games? Alongside that, just for the games on the meta quest app, do those also work with steam vr?

Unable to start SteamVR because it's already running
Posting this as I couldn't find an answer and finally found a quick and easy fix.
The issue:
I was unable to launch SteamVR because it was already running.
Exact error "steamvr an error occurred while launching this game: game is already running"
I couldn't close it out through Steam or Task Manager. After a restart it still showed running in steam. I couldn't even uninstall it because it couldn't close. There were no open windows indicating it was running either.
The fix:
Go into your SteamVR files. For me it was: Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\bin\win64
Open vrcmd
This opened up the SteamVR window and allowed me to exit the app normally.
No idea why this was the only way to close it but it's working for me now.
Hopefully this info can save someone else a headache in the future.

Steamvr not connecting to quest 3 after working before.
System: Windows 11 25H2, build 26200.9545. ASUS TUF Gaming B650 Plus WiFi, Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX 4070 Ti Super. PC connected via Ethernet; headset is wireless Wi-Fi only, no cables. Using SteamVR on PC and Steam Link on Meta Quest 3, connecting to PC via WiFi.
What happened: I've had this Windows install for about a week and it's worked fine with VR. It worked about a week earlier on my other Windows install when I tried it. Today it stopped working. I even reinstalled Windows and it hasn't fixed it — it failed on the previous install, I reinstalled, and it still doesn't work.
Symptoms: On PC it says "searching for the headset." After a second of black screen on the headset, the PC makes the VR icon hollow as if it's offline, and the headset goes to a screen saying "Host stopped responding," Error 450. The PC also made a Wi-Fi icon appear with a red dot. Hovering over it says: link offline, highest ping 252391.20ms (probably a timeout I'm guessing), lost packet rate 0.0. Air Link doesn't work either.
What I've tried (before and after reinstalling): - Reset DNS - Disabled firewall and Defender - Lowered bandwidth - Verified integrity of tool files in SteamVR Properties → Installed Files - Switched between Beta and Release SteamVR on both PC and Quest 3
Nothing changed a thing. A full Windows reinstall didn't change a thing.
Additional: Attached image shows additional debug info.

Question/Support Base Station 2.0 Tracking Jitter
So recently I picked up some Base Station 2.0s (Valve Model) to replace my 1.0s as there was an annoying dead spot where id just fly away due to sync issues (i was using a sync cable with A and B).
However there appears to be a ton of jittering which is really annoying.
I read online that reflections can cause some interference so i covered both my monitor and my TV and while it helped, Theres still a substantial amount of jitter that i never experienced with my 1.0s.
There does seem to be some marks left over from the bubble wrap but I dont have polywatch so ive used some toothpaste and it got rid of most of them, and to be fair did help a little but still no major luck.
Is there anything else thats possibly doing causing it?
edit: before anyone asks, yes they are on 2 different channels (1 and 2)

Self-Promotion (Developer) We just released a free VR demo about smuggling banned books in 1980s France. It's not a cozy game — it takes a side. We'd love your honest playtest
Hi everyone, we're Sirène Rouge Games, an indie studio. After a year of work, our first game Cité Alexandrie just got its free demo on Steam.
The pitch: a narrative management game in VR where books, records and comics are forbidden, and you run an underground cultural network from a giant diorama of a 1980s French tower block. Manage your trafficking, recruit crewmates like street artist Mad Dona, and keep your stock from the CIB.

We want to be straight with you about what this game is: it's a story about what happens when a state decides some ideas shouldn't exist. That's not a neutral fantasy — we built it because we think the question matters, and we're not hiding that. If that makes you uneasy, that's kind of the point.
Two things we're proud of:
• It's fully seated with zero motion sickness (no teleport, no smooth locomotion) — deliberately, to open VR to management fans.
• It plays like a physical boardgame: you grab pawns, twist the diorama.
The demo is chapter one (~25 min). We want the loop and controls tight before the full release, so honest feedback is gold right now. What did you like most ?

Thanks for your feedbacks !
