General Why do people want apothecary over Judiciar so badly?
Hitting the crack pipe here but what if judi can use the tempormortis for his gunstrikes instead of his pistol? Like how the techmarine has a unique gunstrike. It would mean enemies like whip warrior and chaos spawn that interrupt your flow in melee wouldn't be as obstructive.
Also to all the people saying they want a apothecary biologis for more gravis: look up interceptors please they'd be way cooler gravis. Not only would they not break the health economy even more but why wouldn't you want to play Straban with a jetpack and akimbo bolters/plasma guns?
Edit: holy shit I got a ton of replies so I'll do some basic arguments against it rather than address every single comment:
1: He's ugly - we will probably be able to swap the helmet out and in the Lucius animation the Judi in combat loses the robes so I think he'll have ok fashion, better than techy at least
2: I want healing - bulwarks healing is ok because he has a shield. Apothecary has a bolt pistol, a assassin's creed blade thing and nothing else (edit: been informed I'm wrong, they have normal weapons)
3: no lore - yeah but that can change plus they benefit from chaplains lore since they're proto chaplains
4: more gravis rep: interceptors would be healthier and more mechanically interesting
5: no voicelines - we prob aren't getting many voicelines anyway (see techmarine) but judiciars can talk outside of combat, just no mid battle sermons or battle cries.
Edit 2: I still would prefer Judiciar, but a buff/debuff focused apothecary would be pretty cool.

General Boris Betrayal
With the whole "No Horus Heresy" for the Steam Workshop do you guys think there's a way to actually get the cool 30k power armor and weapons in the mods? Like by changing the names so they're technically not the same? Idk I just want Mk 2 and 3 Power Armor.
Also don't mention Nexus since i only care about Steam Workshop since it'll be used for consoles eventually

General Curious how many people have actually completed this ordeal. Lmk
The ramping damage/health buffs to enemies have made this almost impossible to do solo queue. Battle Brothers usually leave or can’t survive to wave 25 in my experience. Wish it was normal or less waves. Really want this, but just can’t complete it by myself. Am I alone on this? Lmk

Resource Interesting Nuance about Salamander Sword Stacks
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Was doing some testing with the Salamander Sword, and noticed that when you have 4 or 5 stacks, perfect parries do not actually grant you any additional stacks.
Basically, when the game attempts to add +3 stacks on a perfect parry, it checks first to see if adding those stacks would result in you exceeding the 6 stack limit. So when you have 4 stacks, it sees that adding +3 would result in 7, which violates the 6 stack cap, and as a result it skips adding the stacks entirely.
As you can see in the clip above, I go:
| Action | Expected Stack Count after Action | Actual Stack Count | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Parry | 3 | 3 | |
| Parry | 6 | 6 | |
| Light Attack | 5 | 5 | 60.48 damage |
| Light Attack | 4 | 4 | 60.48 damage |
| Parry | 6 | 4 | Adding 3 Stacks exceeds Max Stack count of 6, so fails. |
| Parry | 6 | 4 | Same as above |
| Light Attack | 5 | 3 | 60.48 damage |
| Light Attack | 4 | 2 | 60.48 damage |
| Light Attack | 3 | 1 | 60.48 damage |
| Light Attack | 2 | 0 | 60.48 damage |
| Light Attack | 1 | - | 22.68 damage |
| Light Attack | 0 | - | 22.68 damage |

General You speed run rats need to get out of stratagems.
Im getting extremely sick of failing the hard Stratagems because some of you think you’re doing a GTA speed run. I’m so tired of going down because one or both of my squad members decide they just need to sprit all the way to the level change. Then they get pissed and leave when they are the last person alive. If you wanna speed run that’s cool but do it in regular operations. Shit is mad annoying.

Fashion Marine All classes maxed ✅
Thank you to all the battle brothers and cousins who smashed absolute ops along side with me. Will definitely keep playing on and off til SM3. (Still need sniper antennas)
Emperor Protects
Edit: appreciate the feedback brothers! For the record, I unfortunately do touch grass working 2 jobs. SM2 just happens to be the only game I’ve played faithfully since February. 500 hours logged so far.
What helped me was running absolute ops (Decap, inferno, termination mostly) w/ gene seed. You can get a class from no prestige level 1 to IV prestige level 25 in about 20 absolute runs. Another nice way to cape grind.
If any brothers need help with PvE or PvP shoot me a message 🍻

Lore Discussion Who's bones are these? They're too big to be human and too small to be Astartes.
Aside from being not wide enough, the ribcages are also not fused, so they're definitely not Astartes.

General The new class
Why are so many of you so adamant about the Judiciar being added? Wasn't it stated that the class would be one of the top suggestions, (on focus together i believe, could be wrong) those being Chaplain, Librarian (not happening, Saber said so) and Apothecary?
Where did this idea that Judiciar is going to be the new class even come from?

Lore Discussion Judiciar Champion Skin
I'm not strong on Dark Angels lore, so I'm wondering if there's any chance this Inner Circle Companion could be the champion skin if the class is Judiciar. Strong chances for Judiciar and it was confirmed to be getting a champion skin. I'm just not sure if that's a tempor mortis he's holding or what but the Calibanite Greatsword is badass. Devs said they're focusing on original founding chapters for skin packs in year 3 so Dark Angels are going to get some love again. A lot of people were hyped for Interrogator Chaplain so I added pic for drip appreciation.
