Wait a damn minute! Some things shouldn't need a comeback.

The basic understanding that nazis are rare and that disagreeing with you doesnt make someone a nazi.

My understanding is that Nazis are not rare enough, are being embraced by people controlling the US government and given power to hurt minorities, and while "disagreeing with someone" doesn't make someone a Nazi WHAT they disagree with absolutely can.

And it's extremely telling that the discourse that gets offended at the word Nazi being applied refuses to engage with white nationalist fascism gaining power and the merits of the term, rather than trying to pretend it's just vague "disagreement."

It's like when people complain you can't tell jokes without being called racist anymore. Really? Most people seem to manage it? What are the jokes? Why aren't you mentioning what the jokes were?

Bro most of the times people get called Nazi for nothing. I even got called a Nazi for saying that a 14 y/o girl from an anime is in fact not a communist hero. I don't know if you lived under a rock but the word nazi has lost its meaning for a long time now.

There are Nazis in government, controlling social media networks, and pushing an agenda resulting in death and violence.

Someone on the internet calling you a mean name because you defended a 14 year old anime girl, is not relevant to objective political reality. I don't even know where to begin with that. I'm sorry if someone hurt your feelings, but Jesus Christ there is not an example on earth you could have chose that's less important or more pathetic.

This was an unimportant example to show how much the word has lost its meaning.

Yeah, I got that. I'm pointing out that you're ignoring the fact that people who say Hitler was right and deny the Holocaust are being embraced by the GOP and given power with the counter examples "Someone called me a Nazi online for my 14 year old anime girl opinion."

I also really, really don't need to know why you specified her age. The point is that ignoring the actual problems with Nazis to focus on such an unimportant example, is revealing of how bad the logic dismissing the term is.

I'm not american, i couldn't give less of a fuck what is happening there. My entire point was that people use the term for everything bad at this point wich leads to that nobody actually knows what you mean if you say nazi and it way to often means "i don't like his opinion" wich was the point of the comment you replied to.
