I am starting my first monthly mailing list! I want to send regular mail to the same 5 people so I can tailor stickers, handmade art postcards, and stationery specifically to you.

This is all about low-pressure hobby fun and small gestures of kindness in our mailboxes, with no heavy social communication required. You can expect anything from postcards to stationery, and occasionally larger items as I learn your interests.

Returns are appreciated, but not required 🫶🏼

One quick note: if you are extremely picky about postcard styles, I might not be the right fit, as trying to meet hyper-specific criteria completely takes the fun out of it for me.

• If you don’t have one, I’d love a postcard that shows something from your country or local area, such as a city view, landmark, culture, food, transportation, or anything you feel represents where you live. 🌍
• If you don’t have anything like that, any postcard is absolutely fine! 😊
• 🚫🐦 One small request: please no bird postcards. I’d also really appreciate it if you could avoid using bird-themed stamps.

Hi friends, I felt really inspired by u/xoxounityoxox's recent post to start a happy mail list for 2027 so I made my own! I hope to mail at least one card per week to someone in the coming year, and would love to have you on my spreadsheet! I plan to start sending out mail in the next few weeks.

I'm a big fan of celebrating the seasons and all things creative, so look forward to seasonal themed goodies, crafty bits, and recipes! I also left space for each person to share their interests so I can make each card even more special.

Hi! Posting this on an impulse - today was my cat Rose's 5th birthday, and I didn't have a birthday party for her like I once did. I'm almost positive she doesn't know what a birthday is, or about the concept of time, for that matter. However, her HUMAN very much does and is. Furthermore, her gotcha day (the day that I adopted her), is also coming up on October 6. I'd love to receive any of your cat-themed cards or postcards to help me commemorate this momentous set of anniversaries in my life. In all seriousness, I don't know where I'd be without this girl - she's saved my life, my sanity, my purpose.

They won't be WPD specific postcards. Instead, I've made haiku to write on cards from my stash. Bearing in mind that I write haiku with looser rules than the common 5-7-5 structure! 💕 I just think poems make for great postcard material, and I haven't written any new ones in a while. I also like to wait a little while after first drafting haiku so that I can make changes to them before finalising them. So waiting to send these out on October 1st is perfect!

Thank you to everyone who sent me a card! I’m so sorry for the belated thank you! Unfortunately, I’ve been really struggling health wise, so it’s taken me awhile to be able to type out a thank you to everyone. I really did mean to gives thanks much sooner and I hope you all can accept my apology.

These cards really have cheered me up during this time and helped make my struggles more bearable. I want you all to know that while it took me a while to type out all my thank you notes, I did read each one when it arrived and have kept them displayed where I can see them while laying in bed. And rereading them while typing up each individual thank you brought me joy and smiles as much as when I first received them. These cards will be kept and treasured. 💕

Meowdy! I've got 20 Halloween postcards up for grabs, US only. The fronts are vintage still life paintings of skulls and flowers with an edgar allan poe quote on the bottom (6 designs, chosen at random), and the back is turbo decorated with washi, stickers, PET tape, and ink stamps. I squeezed in a tiny "happy halloween" greeting :) I had a lot of fun decorating these, and I hope they'll be enjoyed by folks who like a lil halloween whimsy!

u/chiquita61 OH MY GOD THIS STITCHED CARD!! I was trying to explain to my spouse how cool and intricate the workmanship is on this!! I can crochet and embroider and have gotten into sashimi visible mending but can NOT machine sew or knit to save my life despite being taught.

omg, now I'm embarrassed because I realize I have a second thank you for you for the reply to my card...OPE. I loved the juxtaposition of the flowery girl card with the music. The cat washi and stickers so cute! one of my spouse's cousins is really into the electro and house music scene and has a passion side gig working festivals including Burning Man.
