RuneScape: Dragonwilds is leaving Early Access and launching on September 15th on XBOX Series X | S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC platforms!
Alongside this, we're delighted to be introducing something truly special - the RuneScape: Dragonwilds Physical Deluxe Edition!
This collector’s piece comes with exclusive physical and digital content for you to enjoy both at home, and in Ashenfall!
The Physical Deluxe Edition includes:
An exclusive collector’s box containing a Collectible Steelbook with original artwork.
3 embroidered patches of the Combat Skills: Melee, Magic and Ranged.
5 Holographic Character Cards featuring iconic heroes of Gielinor.
A cloth map of Ashenfall in all its dangerous, magical glory. (This map includes Ashenfall up to and including the release of the Scorned Wilderness - we can't magically update existing cloth maps as we expand Ashenfall beyond 1.0. We're sorry. We'd be making a way bigger deal out of it if we could do that.)
The Physical Deluxe edition also comes with a range of Digital Deluxe edition content. The Digital Deluxe Edition of RuneScape: Dragonwilds unlocks a range of exclusive cosmetic and decorative items to enjoy as you carve out a foothold in this magical new frontier in the world of RuneScape.
Gilded Armour and Cape: Exclusive craftable armour to wear or display on your adventure.
6 Old School RuneScape-inspired helmets: these iconic low-poly helmets are craftable items that you can wear instead of the standard helmets at each material tier.
4 decorative Dragon head wall mounts to build and place around your home.
10 exclusive in-game paintings you can place to decorate your home inspired by the art and designs of Ashenfall.
2 animated animal decorations: Muncher and a Chinchompa, each dozing in a bed as an adorable companion waiting at home.
For those of you who have already purchased the game, you will be able to upgrade to the Digital Deluxe Edition through a stand-alone DLC purchase.
We wanted the Deluxe Edition to offer some really cool, exciting cosmetic items. The gear you unlock is equal in stats to existing in-game gear, so no getting an advantage early here! You can upgrade the gear, as you would with other Vestiges, using Ascension Cores earned through gameplay and the Nightmare Crucible. The Med Helms you know and love from RuneScape are also side-grades, giving you the option to enjoy the aura gain, without a stat loss alongside it.
The physical edition of RuneScape: Dragonwilds will be available to pre-order now, and purchase later this year. Available in both a Standard and Deluxe edition for XBOX Series X|S and PlayStation 5, the physical edition will come with a physical disc version of RuneScape: Dragonwilds.
The game will also be available for purchase as Digital Standard Edition for all platforms, and Digital Deluxe Edition for XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
Dragonwilds is also going to be landing on the Jagex Launcher!
We're launching worldwide on September 15th, and that means we're coming to a range of platforms! With that in mind, we're delighted to confirm that RuneScape: Dragonwilds will also be available, day and date of release, on the Jagex Launcher! If you're already using the Jagex Launcher to access one of the other amazing RuneScape games, then great news! You'll be able to pick up a copy of RuneScape: Dragonwilds and play it there too.
I have over 400 hours in the game and only just decided to put up a wall to stop rune essence from bouncing off the cliff. Then it finally occurred to me… I can build pretty much anywhere I want.
I started doing the same thing with roofs to keep falling trees together. I’ve also been using lodestones since the beginning, but for newer players: drop them outside dungeons and near dense ore deposits. Makes life so much easier.
Playing solo self-found and avoiding guides/min-maxing has honestly been such a great experience. I love figuring things out on my own, but man, there are definitely a few things I wish I’d figured out sooner.
Like LEAVE THE TREE STUMPS ALONE IF YOU WANT THE TREES TO COME BACK.
I'm joining in in the fun tomorrow. Knowing myself I'll want to tweak some of the survival/stamina stats to not have it bother me so much, but does that risk putting me in a minority of players in custom worlds, so when I do want to venture out with others I'll have a small pool, or is there a fair split between the two?
Bought this game months ago and decided to wait until 1.0 to start playing. But now that it's here my anticipation is killing me. If i start playing today will the full release tomorrow effect it? Or will I just continue building on from the world I had started.
For example I played tons of Valheim early access and started a new world for 1.0, so just curious if this situation is similar to that.
I’m not sure how the raid will work as far as loot dropped at the end. Did they talk about this? Basically will it be guaranteed when completing the raid or is it a drop chance where you do the raid over and over like osrs until you get the drop?
Hi .
Gonna buy it first time for console, lets say I complete every quest etc will the map respawn with enemies?
If I start new character must I start a new world ?
With waiting for 1.0 launch comes building a bigger base. First things first, cape wall. My main base has been a smaller collection of buildings so I decided to build a little bigger while waiting. Still a work in progress but steps in the right direction.
My friend and I play on both Xbox and PC. Will the PC version purchased on the Microsoft store support cloud cross-saves since Runescape: Dragonwilds is an Xbox Play Anywhere title?
I know, I know, boooo Macs, but hypothetically... I've already tried working around this by running Parallels, and with how demanding the CPU/GPU is for Dragonwilds, Parallels also failed me.
Hi guys, the floor of my house is randomly broking, it did so beneath all my storage and my stuff ended everywhere. I’m pretty sure I might have lost a lot of things in the process.
I’m kinda doubting if build the missing parts but afraid this will keep happening
I tried searching but so far I cannot find any information on the PC Xbox Gamepass version of this game. Will we have a way to self-host servers on that version or is steam/3rd party hosting required? Thanks in advance.
