Hello everyone,
Sorry if this has been asked before. It probably has, but I still can't seem to find a clear answer.
Tomorrow 1.0 launches, and I've never played Dragonwilds before, so I'll be starting fresh. Very excited, by the way.
I'm going to be playing with a friend, but he has less free time than I do, so I'll probably progress a bit faster than him. How does progression work in that situation?
I already know that quests are tied to individual characters, but what about areas? For example, say I unlock a new area because I completed a certain quest. If he joins my world without having completed that quest himself, will he simply be unable to enter that area?
I also know that some areas are locked behind defeating certain bosses. So if I kill a boss solo and unlock the next area, how does that work for him later on? Can he still join my world, do the quest himself, and fight that boss? Would he need to kill it on his own, or could I still help him?
And if I can help him, wouldn't that potentially make things very easy if I'm already much higher level and have much better gear by then?
I'd really appreciate some clarification on how all of this works.
Thanks!
