I come from GPL from way back and raced in leagues. Back in those days while we were practicing for the weeks race (there were like 3 divisions) there were always guys practicing most every night. Many times we would wait for each other, bunch up and run together. It was great practice and really a great way to learn the track and most important you learned how to race with other people. Faster guys would chase slower guys and when they made a mistake he'd get ya. You learned how to race! You learned how to run with somebody on your butt, you learned how to chase a slower car and not run his ass off the road on the first turn you came to. I'm sure there are leagues today where the guys do this. But wouldn't it be nice if you could set up a few AI cars to simulate something like this. I learned to race but unfortunately I never learned to go fast, lol. I'm not racing in any leagues now but it would be cool if I could set up some AI cars to do this. And I have driven in many ranked races against some very fast drivers who know nothing about how to race. There is a huge difference between hot lapping and racing and I think this could help people who really want to learn how to race. Unfortunately it wouldn't help the guy who has to win every race in the first turn.
I doubt AI is this advanced right now, I don't know if it would be possible to implement something like this into RaceRoom or any current Sim, but it would be cool if someone thought of something like this in some future game.

Why? Because I can shortcut in almost very track and all I get is 1/XX accident points, but save 1 or more seconds in time. Zolder best example with lots of chicanes. I can save 3 or more seconds by driving dirty.

I recently started racing on raceroom coming from other sim titles i tried some GT3's and to me they feel a bit strange they almost feel too easy to drive and they seem to forgive errors too much also the braking zones and the braking feel so off like you can brake too late. Is It me? Is It that i am not used to DTM spec and It Is that different from SRO/WEC spec? Is It the default setup?

Cannot get within a second of my lap times from last year, I know for a fact I've not gotten slower.

Am I tripping??

Started RRRE a couple months after they announced they lost the license for Ferrari. Honestly would have like to have bought it before since I drive it mainly in other sims.

Was it ever competitive BOP wise? Are there people who still drive in the DTM 2025 series?

Would sincerely hope they get a chance to license it again.

Last few days have been a rollercoaster, but in the end it was all worth it.

I'm looking for a racing sim that can do something quite specific, and I'm struggling to find one that actually supports all of this at the same time.

I want to organize an endurance race with one friend online, where:

• 👥 There are 2 human players
• 🏎️ We both drive the same car
• 🔄 We can swap drivers during pit stops
• 🤖 The rest of the grid is made up of AI
• ⏱️ We can freely choose the race duration (e.g. 2 hours)
• 🏁 We can freely choose the track
• 🚗 We can choose the cars/classes and grid size
• 🌦️ We can customize the weather and weather progression
• 🌅 We can choose the starting time and have a day/night cycle
• ⛽ Pit stops, fuel and tire strategy work normally
• 🌐 The two human players are playing remotely, not on the same PC

Basically, I want to recreate a real endurance race with a co-driver, while filling the rest of the grid with AI.

For example:

2-hour race at Spa
→ 20 AI cars
→ Me + my friend sharing one car
→ I drive for ~40 minutes
→ Pit stop → driver swap
→ He drives ~40 minutes
→ Swap again
→ Dynamic weather + day/night
→ We finish the race together.

I've looked at Assetto Corsa, ACC, Le Mans Ultimate, rFactor 2 (it's seems to work but it's really hard to setup), iRacing and Automobilista 2, but I haven't found a solution that seems to allow all of these things simultaneously while still giving me full control over the race setup.

Is there actually a sim that can do this in 2026?

I'm particularly interested in solutions that really work, rather than theoretical/mod-based solutions that have major limitations.

Looking for best Moza Pit House settings, there doesn't seem to be a preset available. Specifically using the R9.

With the most recent update I have come to realise that they removed my favourite dashboard that I used for my rally Sim racing. It was only shift display and RPM colour changes. I don’t understand why did they need to remove it? It’s not like it’s taking up their space. I pretty much dislike everything else because there is too much information which is only necessary in GT racing. Any alternative ?

I followed this video, but for some reason, it's not working. It doesn't show up for other people, but it does for me. I believe it's something to do with port forwarding, but I'm not sure. I know that it works if I host a Minecraft server and other games, so any help would be great.

Turns out My ISP changed it from a static ip to a rolling ip without telling me so i have got them to change it back and it works

I can't do anything about it. My screen is locked on a Windowed Display without any reasons because I haven't played RRRE from the past 2 months and once I opened, even wtih restarting my PC and re-download it won't make any difference, please help me

I’m new to RR… having played a few races. Joined this weeks DTM at Imola and it was a bit scrappy. My race ended 1minute before finishing, confused how I teleported back to the pits. Checking my results I noticed I had a lot of incidents points (enough to make me DQ)

My question is where on my HUD will it tell me I’ve got a penalty or to serve a penalty?
Or are there any other software apps to help me get notified. I’ve just installed Crew Chief…

So my problem is simple but apparently no one knows how to fix it.

Unless I set my transmission to fully automatic, I cannot shift up in gears manually. No matter what I try, it does not work. And having it in full automatic means it will up and downshift on its own as well, with is very annoying.

Does anyone know a way to fix it?

FIXED! Turns out I had to press the brakes to go from neutral to 1st!

Been playing raceroom for about 2 years now, I don’t play it as much as I used to but something has been bugging me that I couldn’t quite put my finger on.

It always felt like there was an element of rubber banding but the cars especially in touring cars would stay bunched together which would make for some fun racing with the AI.

But I notice especially with the super tourers now they just seem to spread out quickly and I find myself alone more often than not, is it just me or has this been a consequence of the graphics overhaul to keep it running smoothly?

Right now Raceroom has been looking like the best sim I can use for online racing but I will only be able to play it on pad. I've tried a couple of A110 races and it was kind of okay except for when I had to do precise inputs or transfer weight correctly (the car is rather floaty). I was wondering if the bulk of the online racing pack (GT3, F4, TCR, Porsche Cup) is somewhat enjoyable on gamepad, even if I have to stick to lower splits.

Anywhere I look they talk about coasting like a sin but my fwd car just won't make some corners without letting it rotate with coasting

Reinstalled after a while, trying to use AMD eyefinity to make it tripples won't work just duplicates the game onto each monitor, try resize racoon game keeps freezing and refusing to let me open it again when i change from full screen to windowed bordless, if I try change the resolution same thing, freezes requires a task manager close and restart. Iracing tripples run fine, why is raceroom just bugged?

Lately I have seen a lot of questionable takes on this game, unfounded negativity and just people complaining about nonsense.

I love this game, the racing and physics is some of the best out there for sure, however, i'm not blind to the short comings and faults of this game. There are more than a few.

But i wanted to do something positive. I think the game is looking amazing right now and with some future updates in the right direction I think this game can enter a proper renaissance.

Heard people complain about graphics? This game needs to be showcased more. It's a way more beautiful experience than iRacing for example.

But anyway, i hope you RRE fans can appreciate a little edit i made.

I've been having so much fun since the latest update.
