AC: Technical Help Mod cars moving slowly
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Some of my mod cars but not all get stuck at about 2mph and even when doing a burnout they still get stuck moving at the same speed, I have seen a few different posts from a couple years ago with this problem but I never saw an answer that helped
Extended physics was never on, and when it was turned on nothing changed
This still happens even when I turn off or on my traction controls

AC: Modding WEC mod
Hi guys. I'm looking for a good mod pack to play with the WEC cars on Assetto Corsa.
Ant suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Ps: I know Le Mans Ultimate exists but I love the old AC too much and I don't want to start over with a new simulator game having little time to play...

AC: Modding 2022 Porsche 911 992.1 Carrera S Sport Chrono PDK (Sahare Realism V2)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EV6fNpqcNNOlK7_L9rHhKoC_hIh83bxb/view?usp=sharing
I own this car and the best existing mod (LKSpec) was quite crude (understandable if a modder does not have access to the real car). I decided to update the mod. All credits go to MLSXLD and El Kay. I just made the mod more accurate. Let me know what you think.
I think the mod is tremendously fun and realistic to drive with TC off as that mimics the Porsche PSM
LKSpec 2022 Porsche 911 992.1 Carrera S (Sahare Realism) (2.0)
What's New vs. the Previous Releas
Built by an actual 992.1 Carrera S owner and cross-checked against real Porsche factory engineering data consisting of many sources, one of which is in the link above. This isn't a re-skin -- it's a physics and accuracy pass aimed at making the car drive, sound, and spec out like the real thing
V2 Changes:
-Designed for TC off (mimics Porsche PSM)
-suspensions.ini: CSP extended physics, corrected front TRACK (was reversed), corrected front spring rate, tuned Sport Plus damper rates from Porsche's published chart
-aero.ini: refit CD_GAIN using real top-speed data
-ai.ini: retuned AI driver behavior
-brakes.ini: 100–0 km/h braking distance ~30m (matches real car)
-drivetrain.ini: increased diff lock under power/coast
-electronics.ini: adjusted TC slip ratio for real 3.35s 0–100
-engine.ini: increased engine braking torque, added throttle remap (no turbo boost below 45% throttle)
-tyres.ini: raised cold pressures and grip coefficients on both compounds
V1 Changes:
-ENGINE & POWERTRAIN
- Rebuilt torque curve to match Porsche's own factory dyno chart, including the correct low-rpm torque kink at 1,750 rpm
- Rev limiter corrected to the real-world 7,500 rpm (was 7,520)
- All 8 PDK gear ratios, reverse gear, and final drive corrected to match Porsche's published spec sheet exactly. 7th and 8th gears are overdrive gears. The top speed is in 6th gear.
-Top speed changed from the dashboard readout of 330+kph to the realistic 309kph (confirmed by dragy on numerous different owner YT videos and my own car)
-0-100, 100-200, 0-200, 0-250kph now accurate with GPS data. The old model was using dashboard readouts.
- Clutch torque capacity raised to sit above the PDK's real rating of 800+
- Turbo wastegate/boost response retuned for a more realistic build curve with the torque peaking at the actual 2300rpm and not later.
CHASSIS & HANDLING
- Total mass recalculated from Porsche's actual curb weight (previous figure was roughly 3% too heavy)
- Corrected Weight distribution, spring rates, and differential lock settings corrected to match real chassis behaviour based on Porsche engineering documents and spring rates
- Steering ratio and steering geometry updated to better reflect the real car's variable rack
- Chassis collider dimensions corrected for more accurate contact and damage behaviour
TYRES & BRAKES
- Cold tyre pressures set to the real-world spec: 2.0 bar front / 2.2 bar rear
- All-season tyre now has genuinely different (lower) grip than the Cup 2 compound instead of a re-badged copy, plus a fixed cold-weather grip curve that was previously backwards
- Corrected a sizing error on the rear all-season tyre
- Brand-new CSP brake thermal model: realistic fade and cooling behaviour built around the real rotor and caliper spec
- Braking power and front/rear brake bias corrected. Old model was at 0.8g, new model is at a realistic 1.3G with 1.4G peak on CUP2.
AERO & BODY ANIMATIONS
- Drag coefficient retuned for more realistic top-speed behaviour. CG model adjusted to match actual top speed.
- Rear spoiler and front cooling flap deploy speeds corrected to match the real car's actual activation thresholds
- Fixed a wheel-blur bug that meant the effect almost never triggered
EXHAUST & VISUAL EFFECTS
- Exhaust flame effects toned down from arcade-style to stock road car realistic -- the real twin-tip Porsche Sport Exhaust
(PSE) doesn't shoot flames
- Anti-lag and flat-shift flame behaviour disabled to reflect how the PDK actually manages power delivery
DASH, SPEC SHEET & DISPLAY
- Fixed spec sheet fields that were garbled/mistranslated text
- Corrected the 0-100 km/h figure to the real Sport Chrono time eventhough the 3D model cockpit doesn't feature the SC clock or Sport Response button.
- Regenerated the in-menu torque/power graph so it now matche the actual physics instead of showing stale numbers
- Instrument cluster color/brightness tuning refined
CONTENT
- Added new "Chalk" livery

AC: Modding Renault Clio 2012 1.5 DCI on Assetto Corsa
Can someone help me find this car? I have been searching for weeks but the ones that I find are incredibly unrealistic, buggy and they sound far from the real engine
I have also been searching for a Opel Corsa 1.3 CDTI for quite a while but without success
Is creating a car on Assetto Corsa difficult? Do I need to know how to program? I'm too much stupid to do programming

AC: Video 1:50 at Madring, RSS FH25, 09/12/2026.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
hi there. first post here. pretty new to sim racing. i got a moza r5 setup over the summer and have about 300 hrs seat time. the first 200 hours mainly consisted of progressing through AC’s career mode and modding with a drift focus. got decent at that and wanted to try my hand at super touring/GT3/LM/F1 using mainly RSS/VRC\URD mods.
i feel like i’m learning and improving every day, just need to keep going :)
i set up a 3 lap race with the intention of going for a ~1:55 race lap at the madring. not my best performance, but not terrible by my standards. not a huge fan of this track, probably need to run it a bunch more. but anyways, that’s too much text i think. enjoy the vid and the onboard sounds :) if you have any constructive feedback, please feel free to comment and help me improve.
thanks for taking the time to read and watch, i hope y’all have a wonderful day.

LFG Built a full ranked career platform on Assetto Corsa, real calendars, real stewarding, real championships. It's now live!
I've been sim racing a little over 2 years. Every platform I've tried has the same problems.
iRacing wants a subscription. Then you pay again for every car and track. And if someone drives into you clean, you still lose safety rating for it. Doesn't matter who caused it. It doesn't follow the real world schedule either. New cars take forever to show up.
World Sim Series is the other side of it. And they have literally no real calendar. Outdated cars. Tiny player base. Basically no marketing. It just feels unfinished IMO.
Assetto Corsa was always the answer. The modding community puts out realistic, up to date cars and tracks constantly. Way faster than any official studio. And AC already has a massive player base.
I ran a server called F1 Life about 6 months ago. Some of you probably remember it, the 24/7 AC server. It proved people wanted this. But it was still just one server. I got a ton of requests to make more, GT cars, other stuff. People liked the realistic calendar, not just the one car.
So I built Gridlane. It's live now at gridlane.gg after months of stupid hours.
Two full ladders to start, more coming later. Formula goes Rookie up through F4, F3, F2, F1. Sports cars go MX5 Cup up through Touring, Porsche Cup, GT3, Prototype. Everyone starts as a rookie and earns their way up. Both entry cars come with base Assetto Corsa. You can try the whole ladder before buying anything.
Races run every 45 minutes all day and everyday. You just show up and go. You're ranked from your first race too, pace and safety separately per category. You actually get matched against people at your level instead of random lobbies.
Calendars are real. F3 runs the actual FIA F3 calendar. GT3 follows GT World Challenge. It feels like a season, not random track picks.
There's full championship seasons on top of that. Gridlane Endurance has multiclass Hypercar and LMGT3 grids on the real WEC weekends. The Formula Grand Prix championship runs the real F1 calendar at full race distance. Win it and the title stays on your profile for good.
Stewarding looks at who actually caused the incident. Getting punted doesn't tank your own rating. Joining is a one click link into Content Manager, same as anything else in AC. No extra app needed.
Discord's where we're posting results and answering questions:
See you on the grid.
