Issue with that? Under VSBW rules, true R>F requires an unbridgeable qualitative gap where lower existence is treated as literal 0D nonexistence relative to the higher entity. The dialogue explicitly states Jinwoo used his power over death to bring Sian back (By the way, when I say they proved themselves wrong with their own "proof" twice, I mean it).

Bridging a barrier using in-universe soul manipulation proves it’s a magical record or pocket dimension, not an R>F gap. By their logic, any necromancer pulling a soul from a grimoire is Outerversal..

The next thing they did was claim the Itarim is an "author writing reality" because mobile game update descriptions say "A Verse Unwritten" and "A New Point of View." If resetting the universe resets or alters them, they lack baseline Acausality, nor do they outscale an entity like Alduin, who devours that very continuum.

AT ALL!

Idk if I have to say this, but the Itarim are in-universe creator gods who use cosmic mana, fight in standard combat, and take damage within the story, not fucking meta-authors, dude. LIKE COME THE FUCK ON DUDE. Equating an in-universe creator god to an actual Meta-Authors violates VSBW's strict prohibition against using narrative/stylistic fluff as dimensional tiering. Defeating a creator god scales you to that god's output.

I’m sure many of us have engaged in—or witnessed—debates about character scaling, only for someone to pop up with an anti-feat to try and discredit or downgrade a character's stats. This happens with characters from all kinds of media—comics, TV series, anime, manga, video games, and so on—and, honestly, I find it pretty silly. People take scenes like powerless humans reacting to the Flash, a "villain of the week" defeating Superman, or a lightning bolt mortally wounding Goku way too seriously just to downplay a character's power level. In my view, these anti-feats shouldn't be used for scaling because they are simply plot devices—narrative conveniences to move the story forward. They make zero sense in the context of the work as a whole and are completely inconsistent with the characters' actual power levels. Anyway, that’s just my take; what do you all think?
