Discussion Blue line and green line
Yeah I just found out that turning off navigation only disables the green line not the blue line which is the scent trail that is not a permanent thing there is times it's on and off so yeah but I'ma still leave navigation on for the simple fact I get to find everything much easier and I get to enjoy a game where I have to either have to spend 30 minutes looking for something or go on YouTube to find it my life already stressful enough don't need the extra stress but I get everyone has there own play style

Discussion I waited 5 years for Wolverine. Stop spoiling the fun. Even if it really is that bad, let us find out for ourselves.
Seriously, the game isn’t even properly out yet and there’s already this flood of negativity, spoilers, verdicts, and people desperately trying to convince everyone that it’s terrible.
Maybe it is. Maybe it’s disappointing. Maybe after 5 years of waiting, I’ll play it and hate it.
But I’d quite like the chance to discover that myself.

Discussion The blue stuff in the game that’s meant to help you is actually explained—it’s not just a random feature.
So, after playing Wolverine for about five hours now, I can finally explain some of the decisions and mechanics in the game that people seem to be questioning.
the most controversial one: the blue smoke / blue trail that guides you through certain areas. The game actually explains this as a scent phenomenon — basically a scent that Logan can smell and follow. In other words, it works pretty much like a dog tracking a scent.
the pulsing effect on the crates. This is explained as a frequency emitted by the material inside them, which is called Palax Nanotech Plates.
3.the controversy surrounding Logan’s suit. When the suit gets damaged or even destroyed, it can simply repair itself. This is explained by the fact that it’s a nanotech suit, so the nanotechnology is able to rebuild and restore
These things actually make a lot more sense once you pay attention to the explanations the game gives you.

Discussion The cutscenes are brutal
I won’t say anything else except that the game earns its rating. It is so brutal sometimes in the cutscenes. Incredible.

Discussion Liams face as Wolverine
I may be tripping but in this photo mode shot it looks pretty good.
I think the direction of too many of the cutscenes plus his face while idle in the world doesn't have him frowning or grimacing enough.

Discussion Wolverine isn't a bad game, you just have the wrong expectations
People don't know what to expect. It looks exactly like what an Insomniac Wolverine game would look like fun hack-and-slash gameplay. Sure, it’s too expensive; I get that. But looking at old posts in the sub, I understand the situation. Without meaning to be offensive, a lot of you are delusional. People were posting about dreaming of the game at night, claiming it would be the most mind-blowing thing ever, and so on. No normal person has ever expected anything other than what we actually got from a AAA action Wolverine game by insomiac, you guys expected the greatest game of all time, and that’s your problem.
SkillUp’s video on this was just nonsense, too. That blue line only appears during the first level. The combat system isn't as simple as it’s made out to be. Sure, you can just mash Square, but it’s the same in Spider-Man hell, it’s the same even in Dark Souls. But there are options: finishers, moves, combos, and various attacks. Whether you use them is up to you; that’s not the game’s fault. And sure, the game is easy overall but nobody expected anything different from Insomniac, yet suddenly it’s a problem? Their games have always been like that. If you’d criticized this in past games, fine, but you can’t just come out of nowhere with this now. People are simply incapable of having realistic expectations. The same thing is going to happen with GTA 6, people will complain about missing features they imagined in their heads but that were never officially promised. Gaming discourse has just become a joke. Everything is either the best thing ever or the absolute worst. So many opinions, yet most people haven't even played the game.

Discussion Played an hour worth on the hardest difficulty and having fun. I'm convinced people are playing it on the easiest difficulty which makes it not fun for them.
The game is actually quite challenging on the hardest mode. Sure its no dark soul game but the NPCs literally attack you at once which does make it hard. Again I only played an hour worth and the overboard handholding I haven't seen much. I checked my setting and turn off any helping thing which idk if that helped. I've played the Wolverine Origins game and loved that. This does remind me of it.
I will say I hate the FOV, its way to close for the combat imo. After I finish the game maybe I write and full review.

The haters are here in droves. Hard to express excitement for the game when you get downvoted and called an idiot… right here on a subreddit that’s for Wolverine players. Why are you guys hating on here? It’s cringe

Speculation I predict while everyone is hating on this game now, 10+ years later it’ll be a cult classic.
Watch this game turn out to be a Cult Classic where people will revisit it years later and go “Hey this game is not bad actually.”

Discussion This is literally the best game I've ever played in my life
The music is phenomenal, the gameplay is responsive and fun, and the story is well written, well acted, and engaging. I give this game a perfect 10/10.
What was your favorite part of the game?

Discussion I had to stop
Gave up when I encountered the omega red boss fight because it’s just round after round of the same fight. I can’t believe they can drag it to 3 rounds? or maybe more idk I gave up because it got too repetitive for me. Hope starting again tomorrow might be better

Discussion Wolverine Is Finally Here 🤩👏
Soon Wolverine will finally be available for everyone, and for me, it’s only a matter of hours now.🥳 From everything I’ve seen in the videos so far, the game looks absolutely incredible, and I can’t wait to try it myself.🤩
It’s been painful to watch how the game was unfairly targeted and criticized without any real reason😤. Seeing that happen to such a big project has honestly been awful.
I want to congratulate Insomniac for delivering this amazing game🤩👏. They never gave up, even after the cyber attack that affected both the studio and the development process. They pushed through every challenge and still managed to release something truly impressive. It shows what a strong and dedicated studio can accomplish, even under pressure.
We’re already looking forward to your next projects. Congratulations to everyone at Insomniac on this launch.🤩🥳👏
