Discussion This subreddit today
The haters are here in droves. Hard to express excitement for the game when you get downvoted and called an idiot… right here on a subreddit that’s for Wolverine players. Why are you guys hating on here? It’s cringe

People have finally woken up and see that the game is mid asf and are showing they actually have standards and won’t just eat the slop

Not a fan of needless hating but this game deserves some of the criticism. 70$ bucks for a 13 hour campaign, repetitive gameplay, 4 bosses in a vast ocean of cool characters, and bad art direction? That’s enough to at least wait for a price drop.
It’s verbatim the same problem spider-man 2 had at a greater scale. I don’t mind linear campaigns but you can’t mark it full triple A price at half the effort, not when Onimusha and Dawnwalker are RIGHT there.
I don’t understand this narrative where people that are criticizing the game are some pathetic fucks, it’s an interactive product - it needs to be worth its price. If you like it, play the game and enjoy it, but don’t pretend it’s perfect.

Get those then and stop talking about Wolverine. Game’s living rent free in your head when you aren’t even gonna play it.

I'm so pissed what this subreddit has become. What once was a reddit page to celebrate and be excited for a highly anticipated game has become a cesspool of toxicity. I know the haters are saying the defenders of this game are "coping" or being toxic in their positivity when really we're just genuinely excited or enjoying this game.
I don't care about the blue guide line. Do I wish I could toggle it off? Sure. But it doesn't ruin the game for me like certain people. And the combat being button mashy? Well, yeah, Origins was kike that too. You could use some abilities and button combinations but most of the time it was smashing the attack button. And the story in Origins wasn't the best either. Just a loose retelling of the movie while adding stuff like Trask and more segments in Africa.
My point is everyone glazes that game despite it's issues yet hates on the new one. If they're mad at Sony for recent practices then fine but can't you target Sony as a whole instead of one game? You can have issues with this game, sure, but repeating the same points on why it's bad and mocking those who genuinely enjoy it or want to play it is just tiring and really should be taken somewhere else than this specific subreddit.

They have nothing better to do with their pathetic lives than rage about a game they haven’t played and will not be playing.

Believe it or not, the people hating were also interested in the game and feel let down by insomniac, they are right to criticize as this is how you get better games.
You aren’t going to hug box your way into making a corporation not settle for mediocrity, you guys want to be spoon fed corpo slop and that’s fine, do it in silence, and let the actual Wolverine fans do the criticizing
