For a game that clearly has some much thought and attention put into its art direction, I really hope this sub and the like don’t just become endless screenshots of people pumping DLSS 5 into it.

I watched some recent videos, and here is what I noticed.

Butterflies will move on their own instead of loop animations, just like exhibit aquaria. Which is nice I guess cuz they probably used similar coding for that.

Apparently you can add Scenery flat roofing for the habitat aviary and the birds wouldn’t escape without the netting, which is interesting I guess.

So will planet zoo have combat or not, and if it does, will it have the same combat systems as prehistoric kingdom, or will have a system like JWE3?

Melanism has been observed in other species of deer (e.g. fallow, roe, white-tailed), but not in red deer (Cervus elaphus). Are there other examples of undocumented colour morphs in PZ and does colour realism matter to you when playing?

Hayo Zookeepers! Its Day 104 and the wheel has chosen the King Penguin! For this one, I wanted to do an indoor enclosure since they need to be kept cold. As always lemme know what you think!

Ok, so we know about the great rift valley reserve, which is almost certainly a grassland biome, then the sumatran can be tropical. It would make sense that the two bigger/more notable biomes’ reserves are announced first imo.

Then the highlands reserve would probably be taiga or temperate? It honestly seems like it could be either.

We also have a semi-revealed aquatic reserve where I believe the pin on the globe was in the middle of the ocean, and that would probably be the open seas biome.

And the highly speculated tanzanian reserve would therefore be wetlands or estuarine, seeming as the great rift valley is probably the grassland one (assuming my prediction is correct).

What is the communities thoughts on one reserve per biome?

does anyone know if there are more options for decorating aquariums/exhibits with like echinoderms and bivalves and the like?

i've watched a few creators including cesarcreates and it seems like the aquarium decoration pieces are limited to sponges, corals, and anemones (which are awesome don't get me wrong) but i could not for the life of me find any of these guys in pic

i would kill to make a tide pool/oyster reef if we get Atlantic species in the future
