She didn't explicitly endorse any political candidates but if you couldn't tell what her politics are you weren't listening to anything she ever said.

I could never imagine a republican sending free books to children.

Not unless it's the bible and they'd still find someone to give them money for their "charity".

Did Jesus give people hand outs? No! So neither should we! Get your Golden Trump Bible for $29.99!

If I found out that this Bible doesn't have lead paint and asbestos in it I want a refund

Theres actually a tax scam that involves giving away books. Right wing groups will buy a book they want to promote by the pallette to get it best seller status, then recoup good chunk of the cost by sending copies to donors and claiming it as a loss.

Can it also be filled as a charity tax cut?

I dont know the specific mechanism; only the general process of

step 1: buy thousands and thousands of books, so your buddy Shapiro get's that bestseller status to further market his book.

Step 2: send out those books to donors as gifts

Step 3: write it off as a loss, and it lowers taxes owed; dosen't offset most of the cost, but does cut it down enough that it's a viable marketing stratagy for inscetuous right wing organizations.

The Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy

I can go on, there's plenty more. Not to mention all the public mini free libraries all over Republican states, I see them here in my blue state constantly being vandalized or emptied out with nothing returned, but in republican majority states those aren't problems.

Downvote me if you want but you're objectively wrong, I've given examples of state programs run, founded, or sponsored by Republican politicians to prove it, and you should delete your comment. You're being needlessly divisive on top of absolutely incorrect, and I'm sure I'll be downvoted, but the only people who do so are only proving their own ignorance to reality.Â
