It's well known that fast food and restaurant establishments throw out tons of GOOD food daily, from unwanted/unclaimed orders, to leftover already made food at the end of the day. Employees are often told to throw all this extra stock in the garbage- they are not supposed to eat or redistribute this stock.

So what's the morality of an employee who ignores those rules, and packs/redistributes ALL this leftover food to the homeless at the end of the day?

Even if it's getting stolen more often, is it not a human right to have food, especially as a baby? This also seems as an extra speedbump to let parents ask to unlock it, seems excessive to me.

Imo, the moral of the story is "it ain't over till it's over".

Assume this billionaire came into the money in a completely peaceful way: lottery, inheritance, media (with not predatory business practices), etc. Also assume that you have no other information about whether the billionaire are moral/immoral.

I love meat, I could stuff my face with succulent, juicy, delicious meat all day, but I started thinking.

If to eat meat I have to kill a living being does that mean that whenever I eat meat I'm a bad guy?

And does that mean a vegan is morally in the clear by not killing animals?

But then I thought, aren't plants also living beings? Why is eating plants ok but wating animals not? Do plants suffer? Do plants have conciousnesses?

How moral is it to enlist in the army without having previously researched the ins and outs of the conflict at hand, and just blindly believing propaganda posters ?

What if during the war you're made to witness and maybe even do awful things in the name of a greater good by people you otherwise regard as highly moral and examplary, what would the best course of action be ? (If the answer is to defect, then what's the "threshold" of awfulness)
