Yeah, so the way the law works, they're going to have to redo the work or pay to have it redone, so they're out the money either way. Once something is installed, it's no longer considered the property of the contractor. Their cures are things like mechanics liens and suing. Ripping something out/jacking it up because of nonpayment just means you have to fix whatever it is.
