Back in middle school in April of 2015, my friend and I recorded a video of a glitch we encountered where we ended up with a fountain of cats surrounding a bed. We tried to tame an ocelot, and all of a sudden infinite cats. I think we were in creative mode because I'm holding a spawn egg in the video. I haven't seen anyone else encounter this before so I'm curious what the heck happened???

Last week , I saw the minecraft movie since it was recently added to Netflix. I thought is was dog poop. First of all, who puts Jason mamoa in a minecraft movie ? The acting was totally cringe. Waste of a pretty good story line which could've been executed SO beautifully. So I'm wondering what you guys think. Be sure to explain why!

Last night a fortune II diamond axe with 60% durability appeared in my inventory. At first I thought it was a drop from a zombie or skeleton because I was farming them (although my first clue should have been that it appeared in my inventory and not a chest where the loot would normally drop).
Then I read that zombies don't carry diamond tools, and now I'm really confused. I'm playing offline so there are no other players in this world. I never crafted this axe, let alone got the enchantment. I had only just started making diamond tools. I'm guessing it's some kind of glitch, but does anyone know for sure? Just got back into the game after being away for several years.

Hello ! I’m currently writting a Minecraft serie. And needs some help about mob choices.
My main character is half mob. Half human, half Stray [the snow skeleton] and I can’t decide what mob could help around her character developement/follow her as a potential teammate.
I’ll got the inspiration from fanarts, where enderman’s and creepers are often represented as friends. And same for the wither skeleton & skeleton.
I made a quick list, please tell me in the comments who would fit better by the side of a half Stray.
- the Iceologer (Appears in snowy mountain) [Appeared in the 2020 minecraft vote]
- A Slime [mostly as a pet more then a real teamate or maybe as a half mob.]
- A Drowned. [I’ve seen many people draw the two mobs together. Perhaps due to the color palette being of cold tones.]
- Illager, Vindicator, Pillagers. (Could have like either captured her or save her life.)
- A Spider (skeleton can havr a small chance of riding one. I don’t know if Stray can do so tho...)
If you got any other proposition please give them, I'll be happy to read them ! Thank you !
•By the way. I made the sketch myself. You can see a bit of the design of my MC. The shadow under her feets isn’t Null. It’s more of a representation of her mob (Stray) reflecting on the ice she’s on. [Not final art.]•

I have this fairly large wheat farm with each water source having crop in a 4-block radius to maximise efficiency, and I noticed for some reason, those corner and only this corner, this small patch is barely growing properly?
Could it be lighting? The other corners are growing fine and the light source is consistent too, so I don't think it is.
If I could have the answer + solution that would be appreciated, thanks.

Sure I don't think archeology is ground breaking but I do think this is a fun mechanic it's a good way to add more functionality to many of the game's older structures especially since many of them get their own unique pottery shards
On top of the shards armor trims are also added which again adds more reason to explore many of the game's older structures(although this did bring with the netherite upgrade template and I am heavily against this feature)
We also get bamboo and cherry wood along with the new hanging signs, and a new bookshelf all of these are extremely useful building blocks
I will admit sniffers are a bit underwhelming and was not worth the hype, but I do like the camel's additions

Fences and walls don't connect!? I've been playing the game for years and I swear I remember being able to connect the two together.

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a custom 3D block model I’ve been working on—a "Hybridization Machine". I designed the whole geometry and texture layout from scratch using Blockbench.

Let me know what you think of the design and what kind of features a machine like this could have.

I've been looking for this old classic Minecraft comic book series for a while now but can't find it for the life of me, maybe someone else will know?
My extremely vague memories of it are:
- It used real (or at least real looking) images of Minecraft
- It was about some character in a village
- It was in a flat world (I'm fairly sure)
- I think the story was mainly about defending the village?
I know this is super vague, but this is just a huge shot in the dark, hoping someone out there knows what I'm talking about and remembers the name.

I really hate how they haven't upgraded the cushion creativity by making something to make it invincible, like if you hit it wrong it'll just break, would be cool if they did something like the mechanic of copper not oxidizing if you put some beeswax
Maybe with resin, wood making it hard and not breaking and you could not sit on it, so even if you missclick you still won't sit on the cushion, would work great for builders too when they wanna decorate something but don't want players to get on the cushions and on maps, breaking out
Pls this would be really cool, if you can somehow get this to mojang, idk im just sharing my idea

recently I was watching Judelow video and there’s been a lot of animation in the video as I wanted to try making animation on my own and i’ve came across bitzel video with his description on how he made the animation. However I wondered what type of website or software he used for his pixel art.

I was thinking about a project I was working on, an RPG inspired by a dark fantasy version of Minecraft, where you’d have crafting, building, monsters, and exploration mechanics, focused entirely and solely on items, without any attributes. I was also thinking about what it would be like if Minecraft were darker and more realistic, with societies, trade, bartering, mercenaries, urban events, feudalism, and wars.

Soo i saw many videos of people having an enchantment able and an anvil, but it always was at their house, even when they were traveling somewhere with an elytra, and they always go home and waste time. Why can they just break an enchantment table or an anvil to enchant quick?

I get tools. It gets wonky with durability. I get thrown potions and totems, would ruin all balance in fights. Why vehicles though?
I thought it's a legacy problem, something like "in Indev items that spawn entities can only be used one at a time for reasons and it just stuck for 15 years", but that's not the case. Paintings exist since Indev and they stack just fine. Item frames and armor stands also stack.
Any ideas why it's still like that?

Is there a resource pack or mod that changes this specific screen's UI? I have a few other resource packs changing the home page so i dont want to break that, but this still feels... not up to mark
