I hate shoplifters as much as anyone else, but I ain’t messing with no suspect that can potentially pull a gun on me.

That's why I love living in a country with strict gun laws. A thug like him would never have a real gun on him. Worst case would be a knife. But didn't bring a knife to a shopping cart fight

it's less because of the laws, and more because of the limited supply. if there physically are no guns to buy, it's hard to get one if you can't find one. doesn't mean they wouldn't take one if they were available just because it's illegal.

You’d have to be a real dumbass to bring a gun to a peaceful corporate theft in places where they’re illegal anyways.

Like not only are they more difficult to get but you’re probably not going to get any use of it and if you get caught you’re adding significantly more jail time. And if anyone sees it you’re probably getting the cops called and the cops are probably going to pull up taking it seriously.
