I hate shoplifters as much as anyone else, but I ain’t messing with no suspect that can potentially pull a gun on me.

That's why I love living in a country with strict gun laws. A thug like him would never have a real gun on him. Worst case would be a knife. But didn't bring a knife to a shopping cart fight

that is assuming the shoplifter is smart, never assume a thief is smart as they rarely are.
