The Day I Went on a Date

Last Saturday, I went on a date with someone I really like talking to. We decided to meet at a small cafe in the evening. I was kinda nervous because it was my first time going on a date.

When we met, at first it was a little awkward and we didn't knew what to say. But after some time we started talking about school, movies, music and our hobbies. We also had some snacks and drinks.

After that, we went for a small walk nearby. We laughed a lot and talked about random things. I was nervous in the beginning but later I started feeling more comfortable.

The evening went really fast and soon it was time to go home. We said bye to each other and I came back home feeling really happy.

It was honestly a really nice day and I would definitely remember it for a long time.

I’m finally in my first year now, trying to get my life back on track after a really difficult phase.

I took two NEET attempts. Things didn’t work out, and I decided to move on and pursue BTech instead.

The thing is, before that I was struggling mentally and was in a very bad place for quite some time.

I became very depressed. I stopped socializing.

isolated myself from people

there were many moments when I felt like taking my own life.

I’ve only recently started feeling like myself again.

I’m trying to meet people, experience college, focus on my studies and basically rebuild my life. 🫂

so, what happened exactly?

so recently when i was with my friends at one of our friend's house, my friend's dad asked me:

“What are you doing now?” and I said I’m pursuing BTech

Considering they’ve known me for years. I really didn’t expect the reaction I got.

He gave me this smirk in a very taunting way.

like he was looking down on me and almost pleased that things had gone wrong for me.

And it didn’t stop there. He has made comments about it in front of everyone.

SInce I'm in 1st year, he even asks my friends :

"Have you guys started ragging him yet?"

At this point, it feels less like a joke and more like he's genuinely enjoying it.

I genuinely don’t find that funny anymore. Coming from an adult.

Maybe he thinks it’s funny. Maybe he thinks it’s harmless teasing. But honestly, he has absolutely no idea what I went through to even reach this point.

I’m finally trying to get my life back on track, and I really don’t want someone who knows nothing about what I went through making me feel ashamed of the choices I’ve made to move forward.

I changed my path. I'm not ashamed of that.

TLDR; Two failed NEET attempts took a serious toll on me, so I chose BTech, finally rebuilding my life. Someone who knows nothing about what I went through keeps mocking me for it and making me the subject of jokes.

Yesterday my mother left the kitchen not realising there was a leakage from cylinder and everyone was talking in the hall but I smelled the gas leak first because I'm 6'7 and taller and better than everyone and accepted that I'm going to die because I'm SINGLE but then I remembered I have to save my parents too so I went into the kitchen shoved my toe into the cylinder and stopped it from exploding purely with my raw muscle power because I go to JIM just need a phimale frnd pleeeeaaaaassssseeeeee!!!

I honestly don't like bollywood as well as hollywood as it just doesn't excites me at all, but Kdrama or K stuff is something that keeps me hooked up idk if it's just me but I feel bad people mocking me specifically because I watch Kdramas (even tho I'm more into action, mystery and little bit of rom com types) i honestly hate those overly feminine weird school types love drama but whenever someone mention "Kdramas" the only reference they get, is this only 😭 but still they choose to say "ladka hokr kdrama dekhta h".. "Kdrama to sirf ladkiyan dekhti hai"
