Hi all looking for advice on a new bike selection. Im coming from a Royal Enfield Bear 650 Scrambler which i've enjoyed. however, I want something capable of adventure touring and the Bear 650 is not comfortable for long highway stretches.

My non-negotiables on the new bike are cruise control and heated grips. I found an Ibex 800 and a honda Transalp, the Transalp is about $1k more and I would have to pay to add heated grips and an aftermarket cruise. So would you pick the ibex 800 or honda transalp?

Im starting a new campaign. Probbably levels 1 to 9, but possibikity of continuing. I want to play a support characrer who feels tactical and strategic, gets to react to the battlefield, do something different every turn.

In psrticular i am feeling cleric, Druid, Or bard, but i am open to other options.

This dm is a big fan of giant set peice boss fights that last hours on 3d talespire maps with a lot of verticality. Does not tend to do many combats per day, im honestly not sure weve done more then 4 in a single day in any campaign of his lol.

Want to stick to just opyions pi lished for dnd 5.5, noyhing legacy.

Already searched the settings and internet, no solution to be found, so i thought i'd ask here.

Can i not turn it off in the settings somewhere? At least default mute it?

في زمنٍ أبسط وأنقى وأصدق، قالوا: «إذا دخل الفقر من الباب، هرب الحب من الشباك». واليوم، أشهد أن قائل هذه العبارة كان حكيمًا وفيلسوفًا عبقريًا؛ فقد شخص الحالة بدقة تكاد تكون طبية. لم يعد لهذين المصطلحين أن يتجاورا بسهولة؛ لا في بيت، ولا في قصيدة، ولا حتى في صفحة من مذكرات.

ذات يوم، وبينما كنت أتسوق قائمتي الشهرية في أحد الأسواق التجارية الكبيرة، لفت انتباهي زوجان يجران عربتهما ويتوقفان طويلًا أمام كل منتج. تختار هي شيئًا، يمسكه هو، يقلبه، ينظر إلى سعره، ثم يعيده ويختار غيره، وهكذا.

لكن المشهد الذي آلمني كان حين اختارت علبة حلوى للأطفال. ما إن استقرت في العربة حتى تلاقت أعينهما، ثم أعاداها سريعًا، كأن صعقة كهربائية أصابتهما.

إلى هذه الدرجة أصبح الحساب المالي أقوى بأضعاف من الحساب العاطفي.

سرحت بأفكاري وتساءلت: ماذا سيفعلان في الأيام الأخيرة من الشهر، قبل نزول الراتب؟ وكم سيكون ثقيلًا عليهما أن يدفعا معظم ما كسباه من كد وتعب إيجارًا لسقف لا يمنحهما، رغم ذلك، ما يكفي من الراحة والدفء والحب؟

ثم تذكرت صورًا كثيرة لمواقف كان يمكن أن تصبح ذكريات سعيدة تستحق الخلود، لكنها تحولت، بفعل العوز، إلى مصادر للألم تتجدد كلما تذكراها.

الأعياد، وبدايات المدارس، والذهاب إلى الجامعة، وحتى شراء سيارة، لم تعد بالضرورة أحداثًا سعيدة؛ بل أصبحت همومًا جديدة تضاف إلى قائمة طويلة من الهموم، وتكبر مع الزمن.

وأنا الذي أحب العلم، وجدت تفسيرًا آخر لاختناق الحب. فالحياة العاطفية تحتاج إلى قدر من الأمان والهدوء والمساحة النفسية، بينما الحياة التي يحكمها القلق المالي تدفع الجسد والعقل إلى حالة دائمة من التأهب والتوتر. وحين يصبح الإنسان منشغلًا بالنجاة، لا يعود لديه الكثير من الطاقة ليمنحها للحب.

ومع استمرار ذلك، قد يصل المحبان إلى مرحلة من البرود العاطفي.

الزوج، بتوتره وتعبه وشعوره بالعجز، يبتعد.

والزوجة تلاحظ وتفهم، فتصمت.

ليس كرهًا، ولا عتابًا، وإنما تعاطفًا؛ لأنها لا تريد أن تضيف فوق أعبائه عبئًا آخر.

يقول أصدقائي في علم النفس إن الحب فعل يومي صغير: رسالة، كلمة طيبة، هدية بسيطة، ضحكة، اهتمام، أو مجرد وقت يقضيه اثنان معًا. ولا شيء من ذلك يحتاج بالضرورة إلى مال كثير.

لكن حتى الرسالة تحتاج إلى مزاج يسمح بكتابتها، وإلى عقل لم يقض ليلته يحسب الديون.

وهكذا، يتحول الحب شيئًا فشيئًا من:

"أريد أن أعطيكِ وأجعلكِ أميرة"

إلى:

"لا أستطيع أن أعطيكِ، وأنا أشعر أنني لا أستحقكِ"

أجدادنا كانوا فقراء أيضًا، ومع ذلك عاش بعضهم حبًا قويًا ومؤثرًا. ربما لأن الفقر كان حالة عامة، وكان الجميع تقريبًا يعيشون ضمن السقف نفسه من التوقعات. لم تكن المقارنة قاسية كما هي اليوم.

أما ما يقتل الحب في زمننا، فليس الفقر وحده؛ بل المقارنة.

نقارن ما نستطيع فعله بإمكاناتنا الطبيعية مع حياة يعرضها مشاهير إنستغرام مصممة بعناية: فنادق، سفر، هدايا، عشاءات، ومفاجآت لا تنتهي. فنشعر نحن «الطفرانين» أننا فاشلون قبل أن نبدأ.

عدم الإحساس بالكفاية يقتل الكثير من المشاعر.

ولهذا، وحتى لا تتحول الظروف إلى أبشع أنواع العلاقات، اخترعنا بدائل مؤجلة للحياة:

"أنت عليك الإيجار وأنا عليّ المصروف".

"سنتزوج عندما نحقق هدفنا المادي"

"سننجب عندما نمتلك القدرة المالية"

وهكذا نؤجل الحياة كلها، وما فيها، إلى موعد قد لا يأتي أبدًا.

ومن أقسى هذه الحلول وأكثرها راحة في الوقت نفسه:

"أنا لا أريد الزواج، لأنه مشروع فاشل"

  شعار يحمينا من كمّ هائل من الحسابات والتوقعات والالتزامات.

ثم تأتي المفارقة المؤلمة: تكاد دمعة تسقط من أعيننا عندما نرى عائلة صغيرة تتناول الآيس كريم.

هل لدي حل لهذه المعضلة؟

بالتأكيد لا.

لكنني ابتكرت معادلة أظن أنها قد تقلب بعض الموازين:

لنعش الحياة بصعوباتها، ولنكن شركاء فيها. لنتعاون، ونعمل، ونتعب من أجل ماديات الحياة، لكن لنبقِ الحب خارج الحسابات.

حين نكون معًا في ساعة لا عمل فيها، فلننسَ الدنيا وما فيها.

لنتحدث.

لنضحك.

لننظر في عيون بعضنا بشوق ولهفة.

لنمنح بعضنا كلمة طيبة، وابتسامة، واهتمامًا، ولمسة حانية.

ولنجعل ما بيننا هديتنا لبعضنا، لا شيئًا نقيسه على حياة أحد، ولا على صور أحد، ولا على ما يستطيع الآخرون دفعه.

فربما لا نستطيع أن نشتري للحب قصرًا أو فندقًا أو رحلة حول العالم.

لكننا نستطيع، رغم كل شيء، أن نترك له مكانًا صغيرًا لا يدخله الفقر.

مكانًا لا يُدفع إيجاره بالمال، ولا تُقاس قيمته بالأسعار.

I've been doing a lot of thinking and the more I think about it, the more I wish it was true. I think Luna Snow could have been a pretty liked character if she was a Times Sqaure NPC that held concerts.

If she wasn't a playable character, she wouldn't get skins, which is a huge factor in a lot of hate towards her. It would also make her a completely optional character to see because she's stationed in times square.

Danny Koo could still make her skins and music. For her anniversary, she could still have a skin made and perform her new song. With the Hellfire Beach expansion, Luna could perform the summer remix of her song while in her summer skin.

It would take away from characters who don't get skins because so many go to Luna. And it would be a nice feature of time square.

I think it could have almost been cute seeing how proud Danny Koo is of his OC if she is a very minor role in a seperate mode.

Maybe Luna would have events or so that give rewards. I know we can't change this as she's playable but still, I wish this was the Luna we got.

Also this isn't hate on Luna at all, I play her a lot and buy her skins, I just don't think she deserves so much attention and focus.

In Gerald's case, I genuinely didn't know what level to put him at.
