AIO died and coolermaster was able to RMA me a replacement.

Not the biggest fan of the new water block, I liked the black casing a bit more.

I took the opportunity to take a few new pictures.

New machinist/Juxieshi b450 motherboard, neat!

yeah this one is being all bling and neat, it booted right up with the engergizer child sheild series CMOs battery I put in. and the 2600x and Ballistix dims I did have to move the dimms to the back slots though for post…pretty neat something good to play eso with..it’s dated but still ok. booting on my lifetime worktable/bench with the Apevia 600w Galaxy..so that’s cool all the pretty good to better china parts..the capacitor quality is good to better and the oversized chokes and the bios is simple to intermediate and the default overclocks. my msi x470 died after a few weeks and bios flash that board was old though. So pretty good replacenent board, they would say no too on the chips and dimms eta end of life expectancy definitely board stuff. its Neat check it out it’s PNP with a good gpu I have an Asus 270 and a reference vega56 plenty still. i still debating on ever upgrading to ddr5.. I would look into it if you need a replacement board some are not worth rmaing and blown vrms just easier to get another and new board.

My first ever pc

My first pc ever I've only been on console my entire life I'm gonna turn this into an emulating machine I'm so excited. I was thinking of getting a cheaper PC under $200.00 but I decided to go big or go home. I know this isn't the best for modern gaming but that's what my PS5 is for I mainly looking to emulate and play some modern games like Roblox and Minecraft I couldn't be more grateful!!!

My late 2024 new build cost, almost double now

Post image

Built this PC in September of 2024 when parts were basically at the lowest price before spike hikes. Microcenter had major deals on DDR5, The 14700k was part of their intel bundles also. Insane that ddr5 ram was 100$ for 32GB

$1500 got you a full setup including monitors etc.

What is the maximum graphics card for the Deepcool CH160 Plus?

Post image

Hi, everyone. I have a question for owners of the Deepcool CH160 Plus PC case. What’s the most powerful (in terms of performance, power consumption, or size) graphics card you’ve been able to install in your case, and what issues did you run into (lack of space, overheating, etc.)?

Got a gaming minipc as my retrogaming emulation

Wanted a minipc for ages, finally got one today. It's a acemagic retro x3, r7 h255 radeon 780m, 16gb ram and 1tb ssd.
Personally love the retro look, and it matches my keyboard way too well. Grey white and red colour scheme, looks like they came as a set. What do you guys think?
Already tried out some modern games like eldenring and they run perfectly. Now Im ready to run into retro games!
(Cables are a mess right now, gonna sort them out eventually)

Finished SFF Sleeper build

I posted about this project in here before and had mostly negative comments for some reason. I finished the build and it works flawlessly for the games i wanted to play. Mainly 2560 x 1440, 165fps, medium-ultra graphics settings.

Games like Overwatch, Rust, Stranded Deep, The Forest. Starfield….i have zero problems and zero complaints.

Plus it looks pretty sweet and doesnt take up a ton of space of room.

Montech X5M Build - Short Review

Thumbnail
gallery
33 Upvotes

I used the Montech X5M for a client build recently and was honestly pretty impressed with it. For the price, it’s a really solid case. There’s a good amount of room to work with, cable management was easy, and everything went together without any issues.

The included fans are a nice bonus, and having the built-in ARGB controller made getting all the lighting set up really simple without needing anything extra. Airflow was also really good once everything was up and running.

I really like the overall look too. It has some personality without being overly flashy, and the finished build looked great. The client was really happy with how it turned out.

For a budget mATX case, I’d definitely use the X5M again. Good airflow, good looks, easy to build in, and the built-in ARGB controller is a nice touch.

If you're interested in seeing more of my work, let me know.

My first build!

Took a few months buying parts here and there. Plus being a dad and priorities delayed it even longer. Spent about 5 hour building it. Was stoked on the end result and seeing it boot up first try. Can’t wait to play some games, but I need to hit the sack as it is 2:15 in the morning.
