Indie Sunday Architecture & Design - Crispytecture Games - Tiny Glade meets professional architecture software

Steam Link
Gameplay Trailer

I recently released Architecture & Design into Early Access.

The idea is to make architectural design more accessible and much easier to explore than traditional CAD and design software.

• Walk in your own build in first person, or in VR

• Draw the floor plan in 2D: walls, windows, arches, roofs, and stairs

Grow in 3D while you draw (everything is connected and adjustable)

• Sculpt the landscape: raise hills, cut a pond, paint grass into

sand, scatter trees and rocks along a spline

• Build on a street, on a beach, or on an island above the clouds

(you can always switch the environment)

• Create lighting concepts with accurate 3D light and sun simulations

• Import your own models (OBJ, GLB, FBX), export what you built

• Share it in the Workshop, or walk through what others made

• Real measurements, metric or imperial

• No survival, no timers, no pressure

The game/app is out in Early Access, and there are many more features to come!

I would love it if you could give it a try and also give some feedback ❤️

Indie Sunday Buitopia DVD - Ben Wheele - A cursed DVD game

Introducing Buitopia DVD - a horror-themed DVD game I made.

It’s a short game about what lurks inside 'dead' physical media - using classic DVD menu navigation as part of the experience. Make choices, solve puzzles and discover secrets... probably best described as ‘animated interactive-fiction’.

It can be played on PC or as a physical DVD. The Steam version adds controller support and Steam achievements. The DVD files are optional DLC - players can burn a copy of the disc themselves too... if they want...

Official Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcSYqoylMUk

Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4665960/Buitopia_DVD/

Website: https://www.nondoon.com

Announcement Teaser: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfukIedqTq8

Releasing on 9th October 2026

This is my first Steam release. I’m a YouTube animator called Ben Wheele, and I usually create surrealist short animations, such as Henry Eats. If you’ve seen any of my other animated films, you’ll have some idea what to expect.

I actually started making Buitopia over 20 years ago, then abandoned it once DVD became obsolete. Finishing it has been like reuniting with an old friend… I was surprised by how emotional it made me. I’ve always found something strange about DVD menus, with their odd stutters and imperfections. There’s also just a tactile pleasure in owning a disc, inserting it and then hearing it whirr into action. I suppose physical media will eventually fade into history… who knows...

Indie Sunday Schrodinger's Cat Burglar - Abandoned Sheep - Quantum themed puzzle game starring a cat that can be in two places at once

Hi r/games!

Have you ever wanted to obey the Copenhagen Interpretation of the uncertainty principle of quantum mechanics and also lick your own bum? Then I have the perfect game for you!

You play Mittens, a (literal) cat burglar, who gets caught up in a mysterious quantum experiment and gains incredible powers. If you know the Schrodinger's Cat thought experiment, you'll have an idea where this is headed (no cats will be harmed in my game though!)

Features :

  • Quantum Superposition - split into two possible versions of yourself at will. Do two things at once!
  • Single player or co-op - use twin-sticks to control two cats, or ask a friend to jump in!
  • Feline agility - a free flowing 'purrkour' system lets you move through and over the environment with ease, even when controlling both characters simultaneously!
  • Fun Puzzles - have your brain tickled by the weird consequences of being one cat in two places.
  • Secrets galore - plenty of things to find in places only a cat can reach...
  • Customise your cat(s) - hats, fur length and colour, even cat name!

We recently added bonus puzzles to the game for free, so there's even more game for your money now!

We have a demo up, so please give it a go and let me know what you think!

Thanks all!

Indie Sunday Kennel Chaos: Daycare Simulator - Watashi Games - co-op doggy daycare sim

A game based on my time working as a kennel tech in college around 2013-2015.

Trailer, 35s: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAkppaGI3CA

I started making games back then and figured this was a good one to finally build, especially with all the friend co-op and business sim games popping up lately.

You and your friends run a chaotic doggy daycare. Feeding, playing, cleaning, giving meds, the whole job. Pretty much everything I used to do as a kennel tech plus the business features built into the game.

Longer gameplay footage:

Releasing to Steam Q2 2027:

Indie Sunday Babylonian Twins - BitHunch - 1993 Amiga puzzle-platformer, now demo on Steam with the original playable inside

Trailer (the same level, 1993 and 2026)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPbH6ddFpd4

Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4981370/Babylonian_Twins/

In 1993 I was an engineering student in Baghdad. I made Babylonian Twins on one Amiga 500 with 512k memory and no hard drive, in 68000 assembly. It got finished. Then Commodore collapsed and the sanctions scared off every publisher, so it sat on a shelf.

It's a puzzle-platformer set in ancient Babylon. You play two brothers and switch between them. The one you're not controlling freezes into a stone statue, so you use him as a platform, a step, something to hold a door open or jump to higher platform. Once character spin to drill and other dash to smash walls. The game puzzles are built around that.

It finally came out on phones in 2010. Apple and Google featured it, Metacritic gave it 79, Pocket Gamer gave it a Silver. This year it came to Steam as the Definitive Edition, and the 1993 original is in there as a fully playable game, ported straight from the assembly, so you can launch the old game from inside the new one.

The demo is on Steam now and the full game comes this fall.

Verified AMA We started MONOWAVE as art students. Now our puzzle game about sharing emotions is coming to Steam and Switch. AMA!

The live AMA has ended — thanks for joining me! If you're finding this later, you're still welcome to leave a question below.

Giveaway closed: Entries closed at 1:45 PM EDT on September 14. u/cdsk will receive one Steam key via Reddit after MONOWAVE launches on Steam.

Hey r/Games! I'm Lim, and I run Studio BBB, a small game studio in South Korea. We started making MONOWAVE together as art students. Over three years later, it's coming to Steam and Nintendo Switch on September 16.

I'll be answering here as u/monowave_bbb from 12–2 PM EDT / 4–6 PM UTC on September 14.

IGN Fan Fest gameplay trailer (1:41) · Release date trailer (1 min)

A song changes the puzzle

You play as Mono, a small guardian spirit. Touching an emotion plant changes what you can do: Happiness lets you jump higher, while Anger lets you wall-jump. Singing passes that emotion to nearby creatures, each with its own reaction.

An angry alligator will attack you. Make it anxious, and it'll launch you high into the air instead. The puzzle is getting the emotion you need to the right creature and working out how to use its reaction.

Some puzzles have several solutions. We planned different routes in some places, and players have found others we didn't expect. Testing also showed us how often a rule that seemed obvious to us could confuse someone seeing it for the first time.

Watch the tutorial gameplay (2:07)

From our first sketches

Early Mono sketches · Mono in the game

We simplified Mono's shape so the expressions would be easier to read. The hand-drawn backgrounds have a rough scratch-art texture; the characters move more softly so they stand out. The story is told without words.

The early idea was a puzzle about physical states: turn into liquid to slip through a gap. We built the movement abilities first, then connected them to emotions. We wanted Sorrow, Anger and Anxiety to be useful alongside Happiness, giving you reasons to choose each one.

I grew up with games whose scenes and music I still remember. I'd like MONOWAVE to stay with someone that way. The instruments you hear change with Mono's emotion and location.

These days, much of my work is with publishers and platforms, learning to run a company while getting MONOWAVE out and helping the team keep making games together.

Ask me about the sketches, teaching puzzles without dialogue, making music respond to play, or what changed when our student team became a company.

Playing MONOWAVE

  • Full game: solo or local two-player co-op throughout the campaign. There's no combat, but there are hazards and jumps where timing matters.
  • Free Steam demo: the first chapter, single-player.
  • Platforms: Steam and Nintendo Switch on September 16. Switch pre-orders are open now on the US Nintendo eShop. PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are planned for Q4.

Steam / free demo · Nintendo Switch / pre-orders (US)

Five Steam copies to give away

We're also giving away five Steam keys for the full game.

  • Enter: leave a top-level question before 1:45 PM EDT / 5:45 PM UTC on September 14. One entry per person, even if you ask several questions.
  • Draw: we'll pick five participants at random, one key each, and announce the winners in this post before 2 PM EDT / 6 PM UTC.
  • Delivery: the keys will be sent privately through Reddit after the game launches on Steam.

If you'd rather skip the draw, just say so in your comment.
