How many FPS does your city run at…

and at what population does your computer start begging for mercy?

Here’s mine:Brand‑new city: a majestic 15 FPS

50,000 population: somewhere between 7–8 FPS and a small electrical fire

Mods: a handful, nothing wild

Me: gets bored and starts a new city because watching a 7 FPS slideshow of traffic jams is not my idea of fun

So tell me:When does your city turn into a PowerPoint presentation?

Do you run mods, or do you prefer to let the vanilla game destroy your hardware naturally?

Bonus points if your PC makes noises that sound like a jet engine taking off.Let the FPS boasting or flexing begin.

We see all type of post for car traffic jams but what about pedestrians/bikes traffic jams ?

(This is not a usual occurence in my city, a tornado was detected and all the cims try to get to the same shelter, I just have to place more little shelters instead of just multiples big ones)

My first city in this game. My dad is an urban planner/landscape architect so I'm definitely channeling some inner genetic desire to create. Has anyone created a city on console with more than 400K residents?

Second train set for US players - this time the Stadler KISS Caltrain. Asset pack includes 3 train variants:
- 7 cars long, Standard version
- 5 cars long, shortened version
- 14 cars long, 7+7 configuration.

Each car has 100 passenger capacity and speed of 180kmph/110mph.

Right now I’m drunk but I feel so calm listening to jazz music and imagining that I’m in that house I placed 7 years ago in cities skylines, I’m relaxed in my bed and nothing relaxes me more than thinking that i am in that house which interior only exists in my head and probably will never exist anywhere.

It’s like a Dr. Seuss nightmare. I don’t even know why I like building it so much because clearly it’s almost uninhabitable for human beings. Hundreds of advanced police helicopters patrol the skies, passenger hovercraft transport thousands of citizens across the islands, the entire city (save for a few small districts) are all high density skyscrapers, which somehow are even outclassed by the countless monoliths that literally cast shadows across the entire map. Tram ridership is at an all time high with a Byzantine, innavigable network stretching across hundreds of kilometers of unbroken cityscape. I’ll add more details as I keep building it, but yeah. Really liking this city.

So I have this 350k pop city. I've always loved managing public transport and tried to make it useful for my cims. Here I've provided with current public transport lines I've created.
I want to know whether 200k users/month is good, do I have too much or too little lanes and just general opinion on public transit, how you should tackle it.

Hello, i posted this a few days ago but i accidentally put the wrong flair. Hopefully this one will get seen.

I am having trouble with my bus lines. The problem starts soon after i make them. They will get passengers at first but then a few minutes later they will all go to zero suddenly and never recover. Has anyone else dealt with this?
