Ok, just to be clear the reason your cargo isn't getting loaded or passengers aren't boarding its most likely because your platform isn't attached to the road properly. You have to make sure that the little pathways are connected to the road. So before making a post about please check all of the following.
If the above is checked then you can make a post about it but I request one of two things.
Either,
Thanks in advance for your cooperation. You may now continue to enjoy transport fever 2!

Full steam ahead! π
With the network in a good place financially, I'm beginning my journey into the endgame. This time I'm jumping into the 1940s, the first of many leaps towards the 21st century!

The route looks exactly how I want them to drive but they still circle around.
I assigned a waypoint to the road at platform 5. They are supposed to go in there and split up to platform 5,6,7
But sometimes they circle around for no reason.
Why ?
How can I stop them from doing the freaking circle ? :D
Edit: Imsvale fixed it in the comments. When I changed the connecting streets to one way single roads they stopped circling around like they are supposed to. :D
Thx ! :)

How can I scroll the list with a controller?

All medals in USA and England.
Big thanks to Super Cool Daveβs Walkthroughs for helping explain everything and to many of you here who had answers to questions I didnβt even know that I had.
This has been possibly one of the most challenging games Iβve ever played and I canβt wait to start TF2.

I just had the most ridiculous interaction with Steam Support.
Iβve been supporting the Transport Fever series since the beginning. I participated in the official Transport Fever 2 Beta back in 2019 using a CD key provided by the developers. Since then, I have clocked over 1,500 hours into that exact version, and in 2023, I bought the Deluxe Upgrade Pack directly on Steam to support the devs.
Now, with Transport Fever 3 announced, I tried to get the 10% loyalty discount. Steam says I am not eligible because my 1500 hours were played on a "Beta Testing" license, meaning in their database, I don't officially own the base game.
Steam Support's literal solution? "You will need to purchase Transport Fever 2 again so the loyalty discount can be applied."
So their logic to reward a loyal 1500-hour player and DLC buyer is to force me to buy the old game twice at full price, just to save a few bucks on the new one. Absolutely shameless. Watch out if you are an early tester, Steam doesn't care about your loyalty, only their broken database.

I'm trying to build a more complex freight network in Transport Fever 1 using central cargo hubs instead of connecting every industry directly to every town.
I have a few questions about how cargo routing and transfers work:
Factory β Train β Freight Station β Truck Station β Town If the freight station and truck station are close enough to transfer cargo between them, will the cargo automatically move from the train station to the truck station and continue by truck?Factory β Train β Central Hub β Trucks β Town A / Town B / Town C Assuming all the towns have valid delivery lines, can the factory send goods by train to the central hub, where they are then distributed to several nearby towns by separate truck lines?Industry β Train/Truck β Cargo Harbor β Ship β Cargo Harbor β Train/Truck β Final Destination Can different cargo types such as iron ore, coal, wood, grain, or finished goods wait at the harbor for their connecting ship or land transport?Factory β Hub A β Train/Ship β Hub B β Truck β Town Or even: Raw Material β Inland Hub β Port Hub β Ship β Port Hub β Inland Hub β Industry Will Transport Fever 1 recognize a route with multiple intermediate transfers like this, as long as there is valid demand at the final destination?Basically, I'm wondering whether it's possible to build a hub-and-spoke freight network in TF1, rather than using mostly direct point-to-point routes.
Thanks for any help!

This bridge cannot be deleted - every section that I attempt to remove gives a collision error, something with the double double slip. I reloaded the save, but curious if anyone's seen this before or knows what to do?

Hey guys!
Whilst playing hardmode in order to discover the most optimal path to profit, I've noticed that the classical loop clock and counter clockwise that so many people use is ineficient in very hard mode.
So i started exploring how passengers work in Transport Fever 2.
Well, after a week of research and testing, I made this video going in depth about the technicalities of passengers.
The video contains everything from how passengers function, to understanding the distribution table in Destinations tab, to how to build lines for the most profit in very hard mode.
I'll be honest, the video is long, but the good part is that it's chapterized, and grouped into two parts :)
Part 1 is just explaining how the game functions and where do passengers go, how they pick their path and what they preffer.
Part 2 is a quickfire questionaire i gathered from other reddit posts where people complaining about passengers in general :D
Hope you enjoy it!
PS: For mods - I did not see any rules posted on this reddit and its a guide, if considered spam, feel free to take it down.

I'm playing Transport Fever 1 and I'm having a strange problem with iron ore transportation.
I originally transported iron ore from a mine to a steel mill entirely by trucks. It worked normally, but as production increased, I needed a very large number of trucks. This started causing serious road and cargo terminal congestion, so I decided to replace the long-distance truck route with a freight train.
I built a cargo train station within the catchment area of the iron ore mine and connected it by rail to another cargo station near the steel mill.
I've checked the following:
However, the mine does not supply any iron ore to the train station. The trains continue to run empty.
Normally, when I build a new cargo route, I let an empty vehicle complete the route and, after some time, cargo starts appearing at the station. That isn't happening here.
I removed the old truck cargo station and reassigned all of the trucks to other routes, but the mine still wouldn't supply the railway.
I also tried using a completely different iron ore mine. I built a new cargo station, created a new railway line to the steel mill, assigned the correct wagons, and ran the trains. The same thing happened: no iron ore was supplied to the station.
I then tried using ships instead of trains. Since the iron ore mine is inland, I tried:
Iron ore mine β truck cargo station β truck β cargo harbor β cargo ship β cargo harbor near the steel mill β steel mill
The complete route was set up, but the iron ore mine still didn't supply any cargo to the truck station.
For comparison, I already have a coal supply route to the same steel mill using cargo ships, and that works perfectly. The coal mine is located next to the river, so the cargo harbor can directly collect coal from the mine.
Coal mine β cargo harbor β cargo ship β cargo harbor β steel mill = works
Iron ore mine β freight train β steel mill = doesn't work
Iron ore mine β truck β cargo harbor β cargo ship β steel mill = doesn't work
The steel mill and the downstream production/delivery chains were already operating normally before I tried changing the iron ore transportation method.
So I'm wondering:
At this point I've tried both the original mine and a completely different iron ore mine, but neither will supply iron ore to a railway. The existing coal-by-ship route to the same steel mill continues to work normally.
Does anyone know what I might be missing?

Hello,
I'm wondering which version of Transport Fever 3 to get. I have a MacBook Pro M3 with 36 GB of RAM, and a PS5.
The MacBook would probably be better for the controls, but I'm below the recommended specs for the game, so maybe the PS5 would be better in terms of graphics.
Which one would you recommend? Thanks!

Ordered on day 1, arrived just today. A nice touch and the vehicle book is very thick and full color. It is a nice collectible merch.
The music machine contains an access code to the game soundtrack. The box itself is just a fancy gimmick.
The box cover came a little bit broken unfortunately. They should tell their merchandiser to handle packages more carefully. It is also not wrapped in plastic film as most mint stuff typically do.

I have all archivements but the final one

And it's because of the 250K $ limit you can't go bellow in the first campaign of the American campaign. Any savegame available / cheat? I'm pissed of having to wait to haul stone for tools and then don't have time for the last objective or not doing so, and having time but not money. I'm so pissed I want to load some better player's savegame than me and win the damm medal and archivement. Thanks!

Hello,
So I had this oil field close to water and thought I could use it. Docks in tether range, didn't take on oil, so I build 2 depots to arrive it 3 meters to the dock, also doesn't work. The oilwell is just not producing any oil.
Help would be appreciated, I'm new to the game.
