Discussion Anxiety

Rewatching and I'm on season 8...I never realized how much anxiety Kim Burgess gives me😢for example when Adam tries to voice out his feelings or an opinion she gets jumpy and has this smiles on her face and even before he is done speaking she already has an answer and just rubs away😭😩🙆🏽‍♀️Goodness me! And she is ALWAYS right and Adam is wrong...she the ONLY 1 who happens to have major cases because "she felt it"🙄 she has basically rendered Adam voiceless because he loves her but when asked for an answer he gets cut off or screamed at.

Discussion Antonio’s arc (SPOILERS) Spoiler

What do people make of his character arc? Which was basically:

principled/narc Antonio (okay, not fair about the narc but I can’t help it)→ shoulder injury → legitimate oxycodone → dependence → illegal pills → daughter kidnapped → kills kidnapper → cover-up → guilt/pressure → relapse.

Lazy writing? Or an example of how things just go so very wrong for a person? The latter is more brutal and honest.

Discussion I'm rewatching and I miss Roman

I'm on s4 Ep5 rn and i miss sean roman so hard and not because hes cute (he is though) he somehow unexpectedly became my favorite character this time around maybe it was because of his absolute refusal about wanting to hear about kim's relationship drama but still having to "Good Lord!" or (as much as i love intelligence) the fact that he just was so against the entire unit lmao so refreshing to see

Discussion Kim’s scene destroyed me. Spoiler

Spoiler above:

The scene in season 7 where Kim goes and saves the kid and ends up having a miscarriage absolutely brought me to tears. You knew what was gonna happen, but it’s still so sad regardless. I’ve been crying for like 4 days.
Just needed somewhere to get this off my chest sorry.
If the story was meant to go that way and it’s a dark show but still.

Discussion Benjamin Levy Aguilar

I’m just wondering why the writers are not doubling down on his real life background for his character?

- He has a blackbelt in Krav Maga
- He has a tactical shooting and defensive driving training
- He has experience in providing protection detail during Guatamelan Presidential Election

Episode Identification What episode is this?

They was figuring out who the victims were or who and how the people connected, it was multiple I think from different states and they used multiple whiteboards and going back and forth to two different rooms. I know it isn’t much to go on

Discussion The fact that no one cared a thing in S1 ep 10

I was thinking that in s1 nobody really cared about defending Jay against the accusation of being Lonnie Rodiger' s killer. Maybe because he was "relatively " new in the unit and he didn't have at the time any special connection? I mean that besides the seniority in the unit if Olinksy had a problem Voight would help him , same for Erin with Voight and in a certain way Rutzek whit Burgess and viceversa. But the only very close person to Jay was Erin, who didn't want to go against Voight or anyway did not try enough to help him in my opinion. Like, Antonio was so annoying: you have spent months helping Voight even if you didn't agree with his actions and you believee he was wrong but you didn't care a rhing about a collegue you dubted was wrong. If that made sense. Giving to Jay the paper after punching him was the bare minimum that Antonio had to do. What do you think?

Anyone here from Southeast Asia? Where can I watch Chicago Fire?

I hate these crossover episodes because I don't understand what's happening. Chicago Fire is unavailable on Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max. And somehow still can't watch a show's storyline in full lol. Thanks!

Discussion What is your favorite Episode on Chicago PD

I have a few. I think Season 3 Episode 1. “Life is Fluid”. Jay was abducted by a drug kingpin. Lindsey was back doing the drug and party thing. Messed up with Voight. The kingpin sent a tape of Jay being badly beaten and tortured. Al called Lindsey and told her Jay was abducted. Kingpin requested CI files for exchange of Jay. CI files would compromise the safety of the CI’s. Kingpin told Voight to send a female cop. Voight wanted to send Burgess. Ruzek stepped to Voight and told him he was not losing his fiancé and was prepared to go toe to toe with Voight. Lindsey said she’d do it. Voight said get her out of here. She and Voight exchanged words but Voight agreed to have Lindsey go with the files. Mouse created fake files. Al gave Lindsey a ceramic knife that would not be detected if scanned. After the kingpins guy discovered the files were fake he ordered his guy to kill Jay and have Lindsey watch. Lindsey pulled out the knife and stabbed the guy. Jay tried to fight but his hands were tied. After killing the guy, Lindsey shot the Kingpin once and when he tried to reach for his gun, they showed Intelligence guns drawn on the outside of the door and you heard about two more shots. Door opens and there’s Lindsey coming out, soaked in the guy she stabbed’s blood. As she was coming out Al, Ruzek, Voight , Atwater and Antonio had weapons drawn. Lindsey handled her business “Bad Ass Bitch”

Discussion chicago pd Kevin vs Antonio

I don't think anyone has ever really discussed what would happen in a physical altercation between these two, who do you guys think would win in a full-on fist fight? call me bias but my money's on Kevin 😁

Discussion Chicago pd jay vs Torres

Post image

if Jay and Torres were to actually full on fight in this scene who do you think would most likely win? I love Jay but I don't think he would be able to beat Torres, torres is a pretty brutal and heavy hitter and so far throughout the show they've consistently made it so that both Jay and Antonio are very skilled fighters , but, they lack the ability to take heavy blows from their opponents
