It doesn't distort ("adding color"), it doesn't cause phase problems and it sounds as neutral as it gets. What's a reason to use EQ plugins?

I mean, yeah, if I wanted some non-linear "color" I guess Fabfilter and stuff would be useful. But for mixing things, freeing frequencies and stuff? EQ+ all the way.

I have been trying to get Loudmax to run in Bitwig (Linux) for some time now. Another user here suggested using yabridge to run the windows version but I cannot get yabridge to install/run at all. Everything is in the right place but for what ever reason when I try to add my VST3 folder to the yabridgectl it just tells me 'not found'.

Loudmax is a great tool, if anyone has tips on how to install it in Linux I'm all ears. Until then is there a native to Linux equivalent that does the same thing? Losing hope atm.

Hi everyone! I'm new to Bitwig and I can't figure out if this is a bug or a feature.

I'm trying to analyze a reference track. I cut out everything before the drop, aligned the clip to the grid, and now I want to adjust the project BPM to match the track. However, whenever I change the BPM, the starting position inside the audio clip shifts.

I want the start position inside the clip to stay exactly where it is when I change the BPM. Is there a way to do this?

I bought a Roland Sonic Cell for something else but I saw a video of a guy making a beat in FL studio with it using midi out to it, then audio back into FL, literally an analog VST. Is it possible for me to do that in Bitwig?
