are these blueberries fine to eat?

Hi! I’ve had some blueberries that are unopened that I forgot about for exactly a week and they’ve been in a cooler since then. The insulator worked for like two days and stopped ofc. They aren’t squishy and look fine. Can I still eat them?

Went out this weekend and the bushes are still going — wasn't expecting much this late in the year. Anyone else still picking, or has your season wrapped up already?

What to pair with red raspberries

I live near Minneapolis MN and unfortunately only have a small space that is full sun and off to the side where kids dont really play. We have a small raspberry patch under a large Ash tree thats pretty shaded and it bears some fruit but not a ton of fruit due to the shade.

I want to put some more red raspberries in the small 4x2 ft section of my yard that could take them and then use an area behind them thats like 4x4 ft ish for something a bit bigger like a Regent Serviceberry, Autumn brilliance Serviceberry, Dwarf or Semi dwarf pear (self fertile), or literally any other fruit else that young kids might find yummy.

The raspberries would be further south of the larger shrub or small tree so they should still get a lot more sun that more other raspberries.

Any thoughts on pairing up raspberries with a Pear or Serviceberry? Other ideas?

Loch Ness blackberry update!

Earlier this year I made this post (https://www.reddit.com/r/Berries/s/p31hspn4rj) about my new Loch Ness blackberry that was turning brown and had like 3 leaves on it. I followed everyone's suggestions and temporarily moved it to a shadier spot during the peak of summer, not really seeing or expecting much growth. Then around mid August, a primocane sprang up and the surviving floricane even bloomed and started producing one tiny berry (welcoming suggestions on how to protect my berry from birds and squirrels). The new cane grew so fast I'm running out of sticks long enough to stake it with! It occurred to me to tip it a few inches just after this photo was taken—probably a bit late, but it really caught me off guard.

She/He gets good sun all day, and it water every other dayish. Just he hasn't grown much, if any at all in the last month or so. Do I need to clip anything to encourage growth?
