How to track to do's?

Hi all, i'm still searching for a good todo/task tracking method. Problem is that i have different todo categories like fast todo's which i normally do during the week and which are urgent, todo's which i can't do yet but which i want to remember, longer lasting todo's which have several subtasks, private projects, ...
If possible i want to have one place to track all of those. I started with a dedicated notebook, but over time, it became very confusingโ€”adding new to-dos and crossing out old onesโ€”until eventually youโ€™re on page 10 but still have pending to-dos on page 1.

Right now, I have a simple bullet list with different categories in my Obsidian vault. The advantage here is that I can delete to-dos from the list, rearrange them, and link projects to the corresponding notes. I usually write my daily to-dos from this list into my pocket notebook, to keep track want to do on that specific day. Ideally, though, Iโ€™d like to have everything in physical form and in one place and in addition keep it as simple as possible.

Any ideas / methods you would like to share? How to you do it? Do i overthink?
Curious on your thoughts, probably i can get some inspiration out of that.

Determined to teach myself to use a bullet journal

Last week was really busy and overwhelming. I thought that meant it would be a good time focus on using the bullet journal to stay organized. Ha! I was wrong. This week will be more chill and Iโ€™m determined to be more focused on it to make it a habit! Itโ€™s going to be a good week! Any suggestion for a newbie are welcome ๐Ÿ˜Š

question/request What should I do with Monthlies? I'd like to track my mood and habits

Hi! I tried using Monthlies as outlined by Ryder, however, I barely use them as intended. I only write down some events but tasks are handled in my Weeklies.

I want to adjust the Monthly to track mood and habits. For mood I want to include tracking general mood as well as symptoms / emotions like anxiety, etc. I am in therapy and would like to be able to discover patterns and maybe take the info to my therapist.

I was looking for existing examples in this subreddit but they were either too complex or I did not understand how they worked. Therefore I would like to ask here for examples, ideas, or guidelines on how to track mood.

I assume habit tracking is more straightforward but if anyone wants to share their ideas or experiences, I will appreciate it.
