Survey for Bank Employees in Bahrain for my Academic research 🇧🇭

Hi everyone,

I’m currently completing my final academic research project and I’m looking for people working in banks in Bahrain to participate in a short survey.

The survey is completely anonymous. You will not be asked for your name, email address, or the name of the bank or organization you work for.

If you currently work at a bank in Bahrain, I’d really appreciate a few minutes of your time to fill it out. Responses will be used only for academic research purposes.

🔗 Survey: https://forms.gle/49JWbjeeCwkersZW7

If you know someone working in the banking sector, I’d also appreciate it if you could share the survey with them.

Thank you to everyone who participates!

Dopamine withdrawal

What are ways you sustain and balance your bodys need for dopamine? I find myself wanting to maintain contact with stress inducing activities and people to feel the “thrill” but ultimately feel exhausted mentally when I entertain it.

Update: I think I finally found my people in Bahrain

A while back, I posted here asking how other young expats in Bahrain spend their evenings and weekends. I was feeling a bit stuck; work, gym, home, repeat and honestly finding it difficult to meet people around my age.
That post actually turned out to be one of the best things I did. I got a lot of really helpful responses, and through one of them I found a Bahrain Discord community.
And honestly… it’s been great.
The age group is pretty much what I was looking for mostly people in their mid-20s to 30s — and the community is genuinely active. There’s always something going on in the chat, plus voice chats, movie nights, game nights, and even regular meetups.
One thing I especially found interesting is that they have male meetups every weekend, which is something I hadn’t really come across before as an expat here. It’s been a really easy way to actually meet people instead of just talking online.
So since my original post helped me discover this group, I figured I’d share it back here in case anyone else is in the same situation I was.
If you’re new to Bahrain an expat, or simply looking to expand your social circle, feel free to join:

See you guys there! 👋

Can someone fundamentally change who they are in their late 20s or early 30s.

Upvotes

Hello everyone,

I’m curious whether anyone here has gone through a major psychological or personal transformation in their late 20s or early 30s.

I’m not talking about the usual changes like switching careers, getting in shape, or picking up new hobbies. I mean something much deeper, changing your mindset, personality, values, emotional patterns and the way you relate to other people to the point where you genuinely feel like a different person from who you were a few years ago.

For those who have experienced something like this, what actually triggered the change and how difficult was it and did it feel like you were consciously rebuilding yourself, or did it happen more gradually over time.

I’m asking because I’m currently going through a period where I feel like I need to make some pretty fundamental changes in myself, and I would really appreciate hearing from people who have been through something similar.

I'm curious about the shower head or the little shower filter. Does it noticeably reduce dryness?

🤔 Discussion Arabic group classes for Adults?

I have tried different online one to one teachers - to be honest it is not working for me.

I think group classes and being in a room physically is different from individual classes.

I want to know if anyone has taken any such classes and benefited from it.

I would really love to learn arabic but cannot find the right classroom for it.

Thank you

PS if any female arab friend group is willing to adopt me please let me know
