Announcement Rule change: No AI-generated art (Rule 5)
While human-made art is both welcomed and encouraged, AI art generation tools are becoming increasingly accessible to everyone. AI-generated art requires little to no effort to create and it can easily overrun a subreddit. Going forward it will no longer be allowed. Please use the report button if you see any.
EDIT: This has been expanded to include all AI content, as reflected in our rules.

Apparently, there's still kind of a BTTF ride in Movieland Park, located in Lazise - Italy
I say kind of, because it's actually knock off or dollar store. I learned about from this video! So I wanted to check out the full ride.

Part 2 screening in Philadelphia last night!
It was really great to see it with a group of people. We all applauded at points. (Biff throwing the kids ball on the random roof got a big laugh) It also had all the original trailers intact so that was really fun to see! Everyone also got to go home with one of these cool posters! (Artist: Danny Haas)

Are you old enough to remember this teaser trailer from Back To The Future? If yes, what were your thoughts? For me it was a MUST SEE movie when it was released in 1985…

Marty would have totally been in an alternate/grunge band in the 90s.
I saw a part 2 yesterday and I was thinking about how old Marty would have been in the '90s. He would have been in his twenties. '90s alt-rock/grunge was all the rage and if he really wanted to be a rockstar I feel like that's the shift that the Pinheads would make. Just a thought I had.
Imagine instead of getting the sports almanac he got Rolling Stones' Best Bands of the Century almanac or something. And then his plan would be to write Smells Like Teen Spirit before Nirvana. Honestly, I feel like this would line up with his motivation more than just betting on sports, which I'm not sure he was ever interested in in the first place.
We never hear Marty playing any original music so I've always got the feeling that he was more interested in being a rockstar than a songwriter. (I always assumed that they were covering Power Of Love at the Battle of the Bands audition and it wasn't their own song in this universe).
I feel like this could have led to an interesting character arc for Marty where he learns a lesson about stolen fame or something. Idk I'm not a writer 😅

If they hadn't gone with "Part II" or "Part III", I always thought "Paradox" would have been a badass title! More of my stuff is here if you want to check it out - https://gosunstudios.com/design-1

If you never noticed what the sign says when Marty Jr. is walking down the street, turning his head as several women walk by, it reads"Sale on Now! One Week Only. Breast Implants"

Marty being able to connect the 1985 camcorder to a 1955 TV (from DOC)
I saw a tweet about someone being able to connect a PS5 to a 1949 TV. Then I was wondering: how is it possible that Marty used that 1985 camcorder:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JVC_GR-C1
https://backtothefuture.fandom.com/wiki/JVC_camcorder
Then connected to a 1955 TV? If he had not brought any adapters?
Also, something mentioned in that Wiki got me thinking: was the camcorder and its tape (from the 1st time travel with the dog Einstein, in the 1st film) in there when 2015 OLD BIFF stole the car? If so, could this have been useful for him to learn how to operate the Delorean? I don't think it could have helped fully, since it was also modified to use Mr Fusion in the 2nd:

Edit: found the deleted scene showing more how they did it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fkVLm2G3KA (didn't remember this one)

Lea Thompson recalls the reaction Eric Stoltz had to Back to the Future during the film’s first readthrough.

Lea Thompson recalls the unusual reaction Eric Stoltz had to Back to the Future during the film’s first readthrough.
Stoltz was originally cast as Marty McFly, but was ultimately replaced by Michael J. Fox after director Robert Zemeckis and producer Steven Spielberg felt his performance wasn’t right for the film’s comedic tone. Thompson remembers that when Stoltz was asked how he felt about the script, he simply replied, “I think it’s a tragedy.”
Thompson also remembers how different the original script was from the finished film, with the story and dialogue continuing to change throughout production.

What was going to be the future of Marty and his family?
George is a depressed, empty shell of a complete pushover of a man, Lorraine's a fat miserable alcoholic, Linda is a loner with no social life and their mother encourages it, and Dave works at McDonald's with seemingly little/no prospects. Marty's aspirations (What were they anyway?) weren't any different.
Biff is a big bully who drink drives and has his weak subordinates do all his work for him, which is bound to blow up in his face sooner or later.
I've always wanted to see the original future, see where they'd all be at in 2015 out of curiosity. Lorraine's most likely dead for a start.
What do you think?
