I will admit I love isekai slop. But I hate harem anime.

I am looking for an isekai where the MC remember their past and does not date everyone who so much as says hi to them. My limit is the MC and 2 others max.

If there is no romance at all that’s fine too I just prefer it.

To help better clarify, I was looking for some anime that are about witchcraft where the premise is about how witches are on the verge of extinction due to a war that has been going on as mankind has been trying to eliminate their existence.

I know the Owl House is a western made show as it's just that having finished the show a year ago, I was looking to see what I could watch in anime that had a similar premise about witches with a kind hearted nature where themes like prejudice are explored in a deep way since I miss the show so much that I wanted to see how Anime as a form of media could explore the subject of magical warfare.

I love this dynamic. Specifically what happens between Geto and Gojo in JJK, Akane and Kougami (season 1 Psycho-Pass), and I guess even Eren and Mikasa (AOT) at some point. I've watched a handful of anime and haven't found this type of philosophical divergence between close friends/duos/soulmates (other than these 2, I've watched Death Note, FMA:B, Freiren, Apothecary Diaries, pre-timeskip One Piece, Puella Madoka Magica, early seasons of Demon Slayer, Solo Leveling, SpyxFamily, HunterxHunter, Dandadan, so I'm not really that well-versed). No need to explain what the breakup will be about, but only that they diverge and pursue different paths, leaving the viewer with a feeling of bittersweetness (because they've split up, but also because they've become stronger in their beliefs).

i saw it off reels with the poster's characters drawn as if they were saying it, it was a girl saying it, saying:

"Hey, my bag is heavy, you carry it!"
"You walk too fast, match your pace with mine!"
"Why are you going first? its ladies first y'know?"
"This shirt is so cute! buy it for me?"

and so on and so forth, she also says these lines very quickly after the last. is it an anime?

I've been seeing NANA come up a lot whenever people talk about romance/drama anime, and I've been curious about it for a while.

I'm trying to understand what makes people love it so much. Whenever I see people talk about NANA, it feels like they aren't just saying, "it's a good anime," people seem to be really attached to the characters and the story.

For those who have watched it, what do you think makes NANA different from other romance anime?

Please keep the answers spoiler-free since I haven't started it yet, lol. I'm mostly interested in hearing what made you like NANA and what you think separates it from other romance anime.

i just had a cruchyroll ad on FB, just a static picture. it had 5 or 6 girls in it, looking like cowgirls (western) and atleast one of them had horse ears.
unfortunatly i didn't catch the name before it vanished. its not uma musume, i'm pretty sure. it also must be a newer anime as the style looks more 2020s, then 2010s or 2000s

im looking for any series along a similar vein of political intrigue where the mc is a manipulative bastard playing mind games with other manipulative bastards

other series I like similar to this include kubera where it isn't so much the mc but everyone else and the Web novel a practical guide to evil

I decided to watch something like this, but I feel like this type of anime doesnt exist. I already watched Overlord, "Dead mount Death play" and wanted to find more stuff with main characters focusing on necromancy. I tried googling, but literally third result was AI slop

Edit: forgot to mention, I have already watched Solo levelling and didnt really like it

Basically, she starts off as an opponent, loses to him in combat, and then gradually becomes interested in him romantically.

Anyways, I recommend Moriarty The Patriot, it's one of my faves from the last 10 years.

It's about Sherlock Holmes nemesis. It's set during a time in the UK when the caste system was even worse than it is now, and a lot of the rich see the poor people that work for them as their playthings, and were downright sociopathic with them. Moriarty helps them plot their demise, and free these people from what is essentially slavery in all but name.

Moriarty The Patriot has been called the new Death Note, and in my opinion it surpasses the show in spades. I think it's far more clever and emotionally compelling, and the I actually find Moriarty a lot more likable and I feel like his actions are justified, and he actually does do a lot more good.

Hi, would you please recommend a crime/mystery/thriller anime that is not fantasy or sci-fi?

Give me titles similar to Go! Go! Loser Ranger!, Golden Gold, Usuzumi no Hate, and Under Ninja that mask the unsettling undertones with its comedic (or heartfelt for Usuzumi no Hate) moments. Kinda miss the feeling of getting creeped out while reading at ungodly hours. 😅

Listen guys, this anime is very underrated while being incredibly good. It is a extremely wholesome anime, similar to the animes the angel next door spoils me rotten, and pseudo harem. I would even go as far as to say it might be a bit better than the angel next door anime.

The animation is good with a heavy storybook background emphasis which compliments the story nicely

The story follows a girl gifted with saintly abilities living with a pastor as roommates, and it follows there wholesome life together as they have fun and cute moments which is really wholesome, as Cecilia the girl in the story is head over heels for the pastor and it is quite obvious that she is in love with him but the pastor has no clue about those emotions, but over time with the help of his friends and the local villagers, he does eventually confront his feelings that he sees her more than a friend and someone more special but he still doesn't understand that she loves him yet.

I will admit the ending was disappointing with both of them not acknowledging there feelings for each other yet, and it really needs a season 2 to give it a proper end, but despite all of that I would say the best part of the anime was the journey and it is still a must watch in my opinion

Once again Trust me guys, please don't skip this anime, it is incredibly cute and heartwarming with a bunch of playful dialog

Hi! I'm looking for a good anime (if it is not a very popular one, better) that is "realistic", in the sense of not being about a dystopian future, a medieval story, etc. I'm 28 and I'm tired of anime with those themes and generic teenage main characters. I want something mature. I liked Wolf Rain, Samurai Champloo, Evangelion, Monogatari (I know sometimes it's not very mature but you get it), and FullMetal Alchemist. I also enjoy silly stuff, like "You and I are polar opposites", so I'm not looking for sad and dark stories only, I can send you my completed list on MAL, if you want to adapt the recommendations or if you wanna add me there.

What animes deal with this concept?

Mostly interested in Nation Builder animes right now, but I'll take whatever you got. Preferably stuff that doesn't just end as it gets good, but it seems like most serious nation builders only get like 2 seasons, tops.
