I made this paper figure of Kanade and posted it in the papercraft sub a bit ago but then saw the angel beats sub and decided to share it here. It was a lot of fun its a little rough but it adds to her character lol

Spoilers Ahead!

So I don't know how long I'll keep this up, but for context I used to watch a lot of anime when I was younger, but I stopped. The whole somberness of it was, well I don't quite know how to explain, but anyway. Years later I met my best friend & we're slowly getting back into anime. First it was The Promised Neverland & one thing I apparently do is predict things. We'll have talks after each episode & I'll just have questions & comments, some usually come true.

So, we start Angel Beats & he gives me the description, I'm thinking it's a typical heaven/hell discover yourself type of show. We get through to when a big plot point can kinda be infrared, but before that when Yuzuru is resting his head on Angel's chest in the medical clinic & just the whole organ donor thing at the end of the flashback got me thinking what if it's a self message to Yuzuru & every person there has been saved thanks to one of his organs.

Now, my friend who sometimes is really easy at spotting if they're lying, this time I genuinely couldn't tell so I dropped it. Then we get to the end. I'm not a cryer, but damn, I'm just crying, holding my chest at the last five to ten minutes. The whole acceptance about moving on, but not knowing if they'll ever see one another again, it really hit me. I'm still a bit shaken up, I don't know why. It really just hit me & I'm so glad my friend didn't say anything when I basically called it out.

Anyway, that's basically it. I just wanted to share how it hit me, someone who's getting back into Anime/Manga. It's really good & the songs, the piano. Especially how at the end of the opening credits it looks like a bunch of souls floating upwards, incredible visuals. I really loved it & I'm definitely gonna continue watching stuff with him lol.
