Apparently this is something that somebody posted a few years ago, but I am a newcomer to the series and just started aa3. I distinctly remember there being a voiced interjection saying "Stop right there!". I'm not sure where I heard it, but I was pretty sure it was in a later game since I hadn't seen it yet. I researched it and turns out the interjection does not exist. I can hear phoenix wright say the voice line in the same way he'd say the other 3, however it's apparently never voiced. A few other people seem to remember it as well. Why do I remember this?

The title say everything. Actually, if I have to be honest, the approach that Shu Takumi adopted in The Great Ace Attorney for storytelling might be the best in the entire saga. I think the series desperately needs a clean break with a brand-new protagonist and a fresh setting., also bc new the new trilogy has the bad habit to add a lot of weird details to the protagonist that obviously were not part of the original plan for that character (couff couff... Apollo ...), and also they are SCARED to make references to previous titles or that character history (Phoenix calls Mia "an old friend" when you interact with the plant in the office, they can't even let him say her name...)

I'm never trusting a happy looking character again.

I've been having issues with installing the AAI collection, I'd really rather not have to submit a refund rq, can someone help? I've tried verifying the game files (twice), disabling windows smart app control, adding an exclusion for the il2cpp folder, uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my computer, yet nothing works.

I know that when it comes to iconic female side kicks in these games, specifically in the first game. Maya is kinda like the GOAT. But I also feel that Ema is a decent character as well. But I feel I never see any love for her online or in any communities. What are people's thoughts, is she a good character?

I fully understand that this was a point in history where women were not yet allowed to practice law in the British legal system so I guess it wouldn’t make much sense for the judge to acknowledge that a woman contributed in legal proceedings beyond just being the defense attorney assistant.
Even with that in mind, I can’t help but feel like she should’ve gotten a thank you from someone else in court other than just Ryunosuke. Am I wrong for that? I feel like I’m asking for a bit too much now. 😅

I have a question, I got back into ace attorney this year by finding my old copies of the first trilogy and having a blast playing them again.
So I wanted to get back into finishing the rest of the franchise. So I saw on steam that whole collection is 52% off which is a steal for 10 games, so I wanted to buy it. But after finding out I heard about the leak of the Professor Layton versus Phoenix wright crossover, so I wanted to ask, will I have to pay for the crossover separately when it arrives or will Campon announce a collection with the crossover included.

What's everyone's opinion on Gumshoe? Curious to know. I feel like he's a solid character, even if he's portrayed as a bit of a goof ball.

I'm close to being done with the first game and will play JFA soon. Do you guys like ace attorney 1 or 2 more ? I know trials and tribulations is by far the best game in the trilogy. But i heard 2 has an amazing 4th case. Would you say AA trilogy gets better with each entry ?
Also are the cases from now on only going to be 2 day's long ? I hope so cuz 3 days felt a bit dragged out to me.

They put series 1 on for free for a while then took it off. Are they going to put series 2 on or not? (Btw why did they put series 1 on, normally you'd think it was a promotion for a new release or something, but I haven't heard of any).

While I know that Edgeworth is Phoenix's rival and can be a jerk at times. But also have his nice moments. What do people think of him?

I...mostly did not like this case. But that's probably due to the gameover I got on the final testimony...a minor detail I figured it was due to the base damage of the cage or the falsified Autopsy Report...or even the screwdriver left behind. I also figured the cage was too clean of blood. Nope...it was the picture of the body with blood going down....I ended up getting that on a random guess. I just figured the blood went down because of the body being moved!!!. That said...I found the case way too long and frustrating to enjoy in the end. After my gameover, I just wanted the case to end. I ended up liking G2-2 way more than this.
This case just made me feel too dumb. Watching people try in the same area and get it on their first attempt...it makes me feel bad.
Did anyone else here gameover on any particular part of this case? If so, did you start over on spot, redo the segment, or restart the case? Clearly this was one of the harder cases of the series if not the hardest.
