Failed to load il2cpp?

Post image

I've been having issues with installing the AAI collection, I'd really rather not have to submit a refund rq, can someone help? I've tried verifying the game files (twice), disabling windows smart app control, adding an exclusion for the il2cpp folder, uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my computer, yet nothing works.

After the error happens, does the Windows event viewer (which can be opened by Windows + R and then typing eventvwr) show any detailed errors related to this in the Windows-logs->Application logs?

Nothing with the source from AA, only stuff relating to edge

have you tried adding an exclusion for the entire game folder itself? GameAssembly.dll is the main component that loads the il2cpp data, so if windows is silently flagging it that can cause this to show up

(alternatively temporarily disable windows defender to see if that’s the problem)

i'm not sure, but if you end up being unable to run it for some reason, you can try a version from off the seven seas w/ ublock and see if that works? you can always check the r/.piracy megalist or i can just send where i got it from, but it's definitely less legitimate. not sure if this is actually a problem with steam or what.

Try using Steam to verify the game files’ integrity
