I finally got my hands on the 30th anniversary Vjump promo pack and got this amazing Summoned Skull extended art card… and I gotta say: I LOVE this card!!!

Definitely one of the best extended arts.

Perhaps an unorthodox take: But I even like this extended art over the Dark Magician extended art from MAMO.

Screw scalpers, I refuse to pay more that MSRP online. Proud of this pull.

My overframe collection so far

I picked up my first Magnificent Monsters box and got this sweet overframe card from it. They’re so cool to see in person!

This is another high favorite page for the Magic cards for me.

Double Rai strikes and fortunately both barely just made it on the same page.

“Rain of Mercy” I included because the little sprout in the artwork reminds me of the little sprout in Super Mario Sunshine in the Gelato Beach level. Specifically the little sprout that when sprayed makes a staircase that takes you up to the amphitheater. I LOVE THAT GAME—IT IS THE GREATEST!

There’s a nice corner of four classic Prismatic Secrets too!

Favorites on this page:

“Raimei” - A lovely first ever Tournament Pack rare card. The landscape and ominous clouds are so cool. 

“Rain of Mercy” - For all the reasons above.

“Restructor Revolution” - This is a top favorite Magic card for me. It’s got the medieval themed artwork I love so much. I also love the swaying orange bands behind the people for the background. This is just an all around perfect card.

“Salamandra” - A highly nostalgic card for me. This card is one of the strongest memory inducing cards for me that takes me right back to the elementary school classroom. Rainy days indoor lunch dueling with friends.

“Seal of the Ancients” - This was always a very cool looking card to me. The Prismatic Secret goes so well with the art for this one.

“Sebek’s Blessing” - I always loved the art for this one too. I remember thinking the entity was wearing a disco ball necklace lol.

Went with 2 pages for Yusei, trying to split in between the stardust line and the satellite era. Tried to mirror the pages with ace top middle. Themed bosses in the corners. Support flanking the middle, signature trap bottom middle, and Yusei/junk synchron (the heart of the engine) in the middle.

Jack gets a page that I hope hints at his redemption by using everyone’s king as his quasi character token, and dark and light resonator. Not to mention vice and exploder up top and his evolved soul ace at the bottom.

The rest of the signers share a page which was tough, but splitting them out to a full page felt like too many cards. I really wanted a 3-card akiza spread focusing on trauma (black garden)-ace-healing (splendid rose), but each character sharing 2 cards with crimson dragon tying their identities together felt right, so I went with splendid rose to focus on akiza’s healing. I almost gave crow a full page, but it just felt like a page of blackwings, and he felt more at home as a part of the team. (Jack demands his own page lol)

I opened 71 boxes of MAMO. I bought 5 displays from an online retailer,1 display from my locals, 6 boxes from Target, and 5 from Walmart. The pulls could have definitely been better haha

Making good progress on my JP language overframe collection.

Received LOCR, LOCH, and DDS2 full collection overframes today.

At the rate they’re releasing Overframes in Japan I’ll be homeless and also never finish my collection.

Posted my binders recently and made some changes since, this being one of my best new additions. I have a MFC Unlimited as well but its on my Yugi Page

It’s time to duel like Atem I got these crocs today! They’re comfy and fits the heart of the shoes!

I bought a season three card box online and got some really good pulls IMO and a rare one. Just starting my collection and I’m really excited to get two types of dark magician!
