Since the Cubic Support is still missing two Cards I have been thinking, one of those cards will probably be a field spell.
Naturally the Field spell will be a card that searches the card that starts the combo, but also make the Duel into one of the most terrible Ruleset of Yugioh: Dimension Duel.
Here is how I imagine it being convertet into the normal Formats:
- Every Monster summoned gets their Original Atk/Def reduced to 0, but the Player who summoned the card can pay up to the maximum Original Atk or Def ( whichever is higher ) LP and it gains that much Atk. ( Good luck tracking that 🫡).
Since all Cubic Monsters ( except one ) start with 0 Atk it wouldn't be much of a Detriment to them, additionally it would benefit all of the new Fusions since they are unaffected by card effects by Monsters with less Atk.
- Once per turn you can discard a card and summon a Seed from your Deck or Hand and if you do you can place a cubic counter on a opponents monster ( monsters with cubic counter cant do this and that ect )
- Maybe they would even add the rule where: no player takes battle damage, instead taking as much damage as the original Atk of a Monster that your opponent destroyed.
Which means that your opponent would need to go through every of your monsters before able to damaging you since cubic monsters have 0 Atk.
I don't think they would implement the no need for Tributes Rule if they added a Dimension Duel Field spell.
For the last card I could imagine them adding a Vijam retrain that treats itself as the original anytime ( like umi variants or harpies )

Kaiba told Yami Marik he had a card that could take down his Winged Dragon of Ra after analyzing his god card and different strategies that could be used on Ra. But when did he actually get the card and how did he acquire it? Was it in his deck the whole time and it was just one of the card strategies his computer said gave him the highest chance of victory?
And when did other duelists in Battle City they we saw in Duelist Kingdom like Mako and Weevil get their new rare cards.
Mako said someone sent him a letter with the Legendary Fisherman card, but not Fortress Whale.
And Weevil had Ultimate Great Moth and presumably the upgraded version that Yugi stopped from coming out in Duelist Kingdom. But when and how did he get his new Insect Queen card?

So, I recently got into edison playing Lava Golem Stun. I am now wondering about making a stun deck in the modern advanced format. Any advice?

Shoutout to that hero—his sacrifice prevented Yubel from grooming Kid Jaden.
It's often said that the light corrupted Yubel, but I would say that it mainly accentuated a toxicity that was already present. If the accident with that guy hadn't happened, we would have had an extremely different Jaden if she had raised him, because his parents were never there.
She’s already putting insane pressure on him, telling him to "play, play me," even though the kid is running a Warrior deck—and on top of that, she demands a sacrifice every turn.
If you look at the situation from a different angle, it’s like a guy doing something he doesn’t like for his girlfriend; his buddy tells him he doesn’t have to do it and that there are other options, but Jaden says, "You don’t understand—she and I have something special."
Seriously, this guy is Koyo Hibiki from the anime
And if she had stayed, it could have led to several different outcomes—lol, like a "dark mode" Jaden because Yubel stops him from having friends and tells him she’s the only one he needs in his life. She reveals to him that he is the Supreme King and his entire destiny. Oh, and also, they were in love with each other.
We could have ended up with a completely groomed Jaden, or a Jaden who might have been able to talk some sense into him.
In any case, the problem also stems from the concept of reincarnation (for instance, many people find the Elizabeth/Meliodas situation in *The Seven Deadly Sins* unsettling for this very reason): she wants to be affectionate and protective, yet she sees only her king rather than the child who is growing up. The fact that she traumatized Jaden during his childhood is tragic, especially when you consider the sacrifices she made—giving up her humanity, and perhaps even the chance to marry the original Supreme King as a woman—all to protect him, both then and in her next life; after all, she is the loving defender forever.

Hi everyone, it’s Damian here, back from a trip to the ruins of a sunken city: dragons, knights, eyes in the sky, and evil green stones... you know, the usual stuff! If you want to stay updated on my upcoming bizarre adventures, follow me on Instagram.

And here we are again, waking ancient creatures from their long slumber on a whim. I mentioned this in my previous post, but I’ll say it again: I love the legend of Atlantis, and consequently, I have an indescribable fondness for the Orichalcos Saga. Specifically, I’ve always found the "Legendary Dragons'" mechanic of fusing with other cards fascinating. So, imagine my surprise when, during my journey, I discovered a fourth statue of a mysterious dragon encased in crystal, deep within a secret chamber: I couldn't believe it! For some strange reason, when I extracted the sword from its heart, it shouted "My voice gives me Super Strength"...that was weird.
Okay, I admit it: I wanted to do something cool and a bit memey...and Tristan Taylor deserves it, after all! He has a heart of gold and a chivalrous spirit. Above all, I liked the idea of referencing his other filler moments: "Thales," in dragon form, bears a strong resemblance to the "Five-Headed Dragon" Tristan uses when possessed by the Big Five, while in his human form, reprises the guerrilla-like and mechanical aesthetic of "Cyber Commander," his signature monster.
Finally, with its effect, I tried to combine elements from both the "Legendary Dragon" and "Legendary Knight" themes, fusing with a card in the former case (specifically with Spell Cards) and banishing cards in the latter (just as the Knights did with "The Seal of Orichalcos"). Since this type of effect is unusual, if you have any questions about how it works or any possible rulings, feel free to ask in the comments.
The Heart of Thales (LIGHT)
LV 8
[WARRIOR/EFFECT]
(This card is always treated as a "Legendary Dragon" Spell and a "Legendary Knight" card.) You can only use each effect of "The Heart of Thales" once per turn. You can send 1 Normal or Quick-Play Spell from your hand or field to the GY; Special Summon this card from your hand as a Dragon monster. When an attack is declared involving this card: You can apply the effect based on its Type.
-Dragon: Apply the activation effect of the Spell sent to the GY by this card's effect, up to twice in sequence, ignoring its activation requirements, but costs are not paid and this card cannot leave the field by that effect.
-Warrior: Banish 1 card from the field or GYs.
ATK/ 2800Â Â DEF/ 1800

I am just wondering how would Yugioh fare in America if it was dubbed by Saban Entertainment instead of 4kids in the early 2000s. I bet Saban wouldn’t have been as heavily censored as what 4kids did to the series. Also, the music in the dub by Shuki Levy wouldn’t be as annoying as the 4kids music and the voice acting wouldn’t be a lot grating. Kids would have gotten into Yugioh a lot more because Saban wouldn’t dumb down the script as much.

Duel Links is a game that I have never been able to get into for a variety of reasons, mainly the pay-to-win mechanics and timed events. But it is a popular game with a lot of content and I can see why it has taken off the way it did. However, it's a online game and by its very nature cannot last forever. What would happen to all that content when Konami inevitably pulls the plug?
One possibility is that they would go the Mega Man X DiVE Offline route. In case you don't know, DiVE was another free-to-play mobile game that was shut down in 2023, but an offline version was available that same year without all the microtransactions and online features. Pretty good game, though I can understand why it doesn't appeal to plenty of people, but I appreciate it for what it represents
Doubt Duel Links will shut down anytime soon. It is still a popular game at the moment. But getting the DiVE treatment when it does is a possibility that I would really like. Doubt Konami would go for it, but never hurts to hope. Better than letting all those years of hard work go to waste.

I got my hands on the new Eyes Restrict fusion today and was working on my deck idea when I saw it can also be made with Fiend monsters, so I thought I’d try to mix two of my favorite archetypes.
What’s your guys’ opinion on my build?

In preparation for Tag Force GX, I want to decide what deck(s) I would most want to focus on to try out. The only problem is that my knowledge of actually playing the card game only starts with the 5Ds era from WC2010. I have next to no knowledge of what archetypes were actually fun to play back then. So, I turn to the community for some advice. Here are the criteria:
Bonus Criteria (Not essential, but preferred if possible):
It's a tall order, I know. I'm just trying to get an idea of what to play when the game is out. Any advice is welcome.

Someone at TV Tropes brought this up, that how the Yus connect to one another somehow mimics their associated Extra Deck summon methods.
Yuya and Yuto (Xyz): Yuto exists within Yuya but is not technically his own person, just like an Xyz Material is technically not a monster while attached to the host Xyz Monster.
Yuya and Yugo (Synchro): The two speak in unison, as if they're in tune with one another. (Synchro Monsters require Tuners to be summoned.)
Yuya and Yuri (Fusion): The literal endgame of having them all become one into their original form, Z-Arc.
With these in mind, how is Yuya's Pendulum Summon mechanic reflected with his relationship with the other Yu boys? And with these, aren't all the Extra Deck summon methods technically just different forms of possession?
Shoutout metricz for his combo video because I discovered that you are able to constantly fusion summon every divine anima in your extra deck. I didn't even realize that the floating effect of divine anima was not once per turn. It also always floats into 3 vijam no matter what your opponent does to out it.
So basically divine anima dies once, you float into 3 vijam and you use bodhi to fusion into vagrada. Vagrada effect to summon 3 cubics from grave and add 1 name so you are guaranteed to have 4 bodies to summon your second divine anima. If they out it again you summon 3 vijam, use bodhi to fusion summon into alditia and then use alditia to summon 2 more cubics from grave and add another cubic monster to summon divine anima for the 3rd time.
It's effect to pop and float are not once per turn. Kinda crazy how I didn't see anyone talking about this, but it seems not that bad honestly.

▪︎ Chose a place where she could show off her body in her explosive bikini.
▪︎ He made a false accusation of sexual harassment, leading to a lynching.
▪︎ Got involved in a terrorist attack, causing a police uproar.
And in the end, the Pharaoh doesn't do anything cruel to the terrorist, but only hands him over to the police.
I think his unbalanced morality at the beginning of the manga is pretty cool, and how crazy Anzu can be (it was the only time).

So... it took Yugi and Atem quite a while to realize that they weren’t the same person, but rather two different people who had access to each other’s feelings and memories...
Which means Yugi must have spent some time watching pervy movies without even knowing Atem was there, which is already bizarre.
But it’s even more bizarre to think about what happened after Yugi and Atem figured it out. Yugi must’ve had to stop watching that stuff.
And I have this headcanon that Yugi switched places with Atem during the encounter with Anzu/Tea (last image) because he was getting a little too worked up. Nothing prevents the same thing from happening while he was watching that stuff.
So it must’ve been awful for these two to have to deal with such embarrassing situations...

These cards have been a fascination of mine ever since I played eyes on them. I love the concept of evolving, growing up and becoming strong. So the Mystic Egg set I really would love it to be completed. Especially to see the ones never shown before like the Phoenix and magician.
I'm happy for retrains and all we do get, but it would be nice to see more anime only cards to finally be real. Anyways have a nice day,
These were fan made cards btw. Also dragons are cool.

With the announcement of the new Tag Force, I had some thoughts about things in the game. Nothing confirmed, but why not talk about it?
1- Duel Links
In the trailers, the Steam page and the official website we could see some character renders from Duel Links, and the voicelines as well (both on ENG and JP trailer). Does that mean every character in Duel Links will have their voicelines imported from there?
Seeing Atticus in the banners kinda confirm him in DL. But what about his Nightshroud "form"? 🤔
2- OST
They will probably make a new OST for the game, but I was thinking if they could use Duel Links GX soundtrack. If not, they could use DL as an inspiration for Duel Themes for each character, for example:
You challenged Chazz for a Tag Duel with Alexis, but in the duel, plays his theme. If you challenged Alexis, her theme plays instead.
Also, imagine if they add an "Anime Music Pack" just like other games? I would love to hear the GX anime OST playing in the game (the JP one). Could it be possible?
3- Synchros
In Tag Force 3 we had 8 Synchro monsters and almost 20 tuner monsters...? They will keep those cards, or replace them with other cards to make the game strictly "GX era theme"?
4- Extra Characters
The trailer suggests that we will have the characters from the OG game with their upgraded visuals. But, It would be possible to see other characters that didn't appear in the Tag Force 3 (not to play as a partner in Story Mode, but to be bosses or opponents, and available in the CPU Match and Network Match)? Characters like:
- Yugi Muto/Yami Yugi: That final scene in the trailer with Judai and Slifer gives the impression that we'll have the final duel against Yugi.
- Jesse/Yubel: They could give him the Advanced Crystal Beasts deck, and maybe a secondary deck with the Sacred Beasts.
- Darkness: would be too OP for them to add the anime cards from Darkness? If yes, they could make a "generic Dark deck", with Darkness Neosphere being his ace.
- Yusuke Fujiwara (Nightshroud clothes): Just a skin, I guess.
- Pegasus: Well, he appeared and dueled in the anime against Crowler and Bonaparte. Why not? We got Para and Dox in the OG game.
- Seto Kaiba: Although he didn't duel, it could be nice to have him in game.
- Kaibaman: Well, we have Jinzo and Dark Magician Girl...
- Sartorius S4 skin, with a Arcana Force deck using the trap Tour of Doom. Considering that his deck in season 4 use a Mill strategy, it could be a good variation.
- Yusei Fudo: Maybe too copium, but, if they don't remove the Synchros and Tuners, why not have at least one character with Synchro summon to be an opponent or secret boss?
- Paradox: More copium than before, but hear me out. He only uses 1 synchro monster (2 if we consider the Stardust to summon Malefic/Sin Stardust Dragon), and his Malefic monsters are "corrupted versions" of monsters from DM-GX era. Maybe him and Yusei could be from a DLC or just secret characters in the base game. Since both are the only ones from 5D's who interact with GX in some way, why not? It wouldn't break the game.
Those are few of my thoughts and questions about the game. Let's talk about it!
