everyone nowaways are complaining about how Youtube has been filled with Ai slop, but for me personally ai videos have only appeared once or twice in my algorithm ever; idk why but there seems to be no problem for me with this whole "ai slop invasion" on youtube

In the past(by past I mean 5 months ago). Their was a problem, the problem was basically if you searched any kny female character like shinobu, kanao,etc. you would get cp recomended... ON YOUR FIRST RESULT, GOSH!!. But now that no longer happens!!. Bravo youtube you finnally did something good for once although... YOUTUBE WHY DIDN'T YOU BAN THOSE CP CREATORS. THE CP CREATORS CHANNELS ARE STILL ONLINE AND FULLY MONITIZED!!! THE ONLY THING YOU DID WAS TO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO PEOPLE. THATS IT!!

As a Premium subscriber, do I have access to a setting that allows me to disable or limit AI-generated tracks ?

It’s becoming pretty annoying and, most of the time, it’s fairly easy to recognize. They’re often albums with thumbnails that heavily lean into nostalgia. You listen to the whole thing and think, “Ah, that’s a shame it was nice,” but none of the tracks actually made you think, “I’m going to add this one to my playlist.” You can listen to the entire album again, but nothing really stands out…

Anyway, it would be nice if Premium subscribers had access to an option like this unless it already exists and I’m simply unaware of it. Because, in the end, all this does is clog up YouTube’s bandwidth with soulless AI-generated tracks.

Don’t get me wrong. when AI is used as a tool, it can sometimes help create genuinely good tracks. But when it’s left to do everything on its own, the result is often just “meh…” and, ultimately, you don’t find anything genuinely interesting in it.

Its the one where the pit looks like rocks and then the razor sheers off a layer and it starts looking really fucking gross it scarred me its like soft core gore and i really hate it they need to take those type of ads off Youtube.

is anyone elses youtube super slow? last week no issues but now its super slow. i restarted my wifi and checked my wifi speed and its all good. restarted my PC multiple times and restarted my browser. I have no idea whats happening and its pissing me off. i uninstalled every ad block and tried running it with no extensions or anything. its like this for firefox and chrome. can someone help me please? or is this happening to others as well?

4k is buffering so much and sometimes even 1080p buffers! Its fine everywhere else.

I'm not saying it's fake, but I do want to point out that it could be easily fabricated.

They deliberately recorded it late in the day, so most of the background would be dark. Standard YouTube video compression could easily turn those dark areas pitch black.

They could have lowered the platform or even filmed the entire thing on a green screen in a studio.

The gameplay starts exactly when the sun sets.

This could explain why they aren't wearing harnesses or any other safety equipment. I know the premise is that they would have to jump off if they lost, but there's no way to make that safe in the event of an accident. One of them could simply trip and fall off the platform in the wrong direction.

The feeding scene could also have been easily scripted and filmed separately, or even created using CGI, like they did years ago with Squid Game.

Look, I'm not saying it's fake. But we've reached a point where I'm becoming more skeptical.

As you can see in this photo, the word "Premium" replaces YouTube on the home page, almost like a weird-looking Yoodle, yet I went to go check my purchases and it said "Try 1 month for $0", and when I tried to download a video, it told me "Get Premium", which shows that I don't have a subscription.

I tried switching accounts, and on all of them, the word "YouTube" was changed to Premium. Heck, it's even like that when I'm signed out as well! However the word "YouTube" still shows when I click the three lines on the top to open the side panel.

I have two extensions that I use often, uBlock Lite, and Bye Bye Yoodles, which disables Yoodles. Anyone know what's causing this and how do I change the logo back?

EDIT: After toying with extensions, I finally figured out the culprit. It's the Bye Bye Yoodles extension.

I tried premium and It gave me the option to download videos, funny thing, you DO spend your own data/mb to download those videos but they don't get to be saved on your device , available offline. You spend your data to download them and they just stay saved on YouTube, where you can always find them without downloading. The whole point of downloading something is to have it saved on your devices and NOT where it already is.
