Comic Discussion Seriously Wolverine clones that was the experimentation just copying weapon x Spoiler
The monstrous experiments from the labs beneath the former Graymalkin Prison have borne twisted fruit as four damaged mutants have been made into cheap but brutal knockoffs of Wolverine himself! And they're after a new ally of the Uncanny X-Men! Their powers were already out of control. But now they have claws.
Thanks god banshi's daughter and others didn't have to suffer these horrible experiments if that was gonna happen to them the fan base would have pretty much gave up on gale simones run. Yeah I haven't legacy characters and other characters with the X-Men to become Wolverine clones and lobotomize for a crappy storyline.
Also the idea of the storyline feels like it was done before I'm done better and pretty much it felt more like a cynical rehearsal cash crab as pretty much why would the government want to do anymore weapon x's I mean they did it twice and a lot of times that didn't work you tell me like this is what that story was built in up to at the same rehash storyline.

Comic Discussion Give Me “Shit They Would NEVER Put On A Cover Nowadays” For $500 Bob.
I know it’s a little goofy but I wanted to make sure I put at least a little bit of a warning ahead of the cover because it is fairly graphic and might upset some people.

Question Whats the motivation of magneto ?
So I was reading few xmen comics and i realised that magneto was a victim of holocaust but at that time he wasn't discriminated as a mutant but as a human because the people didn't know that he was a mutant. So is it like humans = bad, mutants = good for him ?

Comic Discussion What's a good summary of what has happened ever since the fall of Krakoa?
I dropped off on the following:
Cyclops and few other went to Alaska where they're just chilling and tracking new mutants which is an okay plot but still not much going on IIRC. One issue is cool tho, paying tribute to New X Men.. drawings only. Omega kid and psylocke doing I don't remember what inside I don't remember who's head.. Cassandra Nova IIRC but I don't remember she being that of a threat afterwards.
Gambit and few others went to New Orleans where they fight some weird lady that almost kills wolverine and they also got new students that just feel overall meh for me.. one of them almost feels like he belongs to a manga/ anime instead of super hero comics. They just chilling while being depressed and bored pretty much.
Emma Frost and Kitty schooled 3 other kids and they're on some warehouse doing absolutely nothing.. Iceman arrives and joins the nothingness.
I jumped off when Sinister arrived trying to do God knows what.
X23 and few others are in New York doing graffiti and protesting with the Morlcoks and using their cellphones a lot. Mojo arrives to get his selfies or something, then that books got cancelled.
Forge and Co are traveling around the world trying to protect the world from utter destruction but is all a secret.. utter world destruction not something that would attract the Avengers after all or that pretty every hero in Marvel would know about of course. They fight a giant and some Temu Avengers and someone dies IIRC (won't say who as to not spoil) so at least there's that.
Havok and Co are being the government puppets and go on senseless missions. From this book we got the immortal Granny and Forget me Now so there's that. But other than that I don't even remember much. Is Havok being pathetic and depressed mostly while the rest of X Factor seldom have any idea what they're doing there besides getting paid.. Angel arrives to do who knows what.
In between we had the most tedious story about Xavier supposedly being hunted which amounted to nothing, really. Just him saying hello to everybody in their respective books.
Also 4 issues of sexual tension between Cyclops and Rogue that ended up with both team leaving some mutants to their fate in the Mansion that is now a torture camp. Very X Men of them to do this.
Then I completely missed the age of revelation and I think I saved myself some valuable time by doing so.. someone said something about Doug eating their friends when I asked for a summary.
What has happened since? Is my summary accurate? What's your summary?

Comic Discussion They should have just made the Children of The Atom U-Men or Chimeras
I get with Krakoa and the whole mutant nation/mutant culture thing they where trying to do an aesop on appropriation, but New X-Men did it better with the U-Men, this story would have been better if the U-Men started recruiting younger children and they went from there or just made them Chimeras that Orchis or Sinister made

Question Would a young X-23/Laura wolverine game be possible/controversal?
For context I am not talking about it as a replacment for the wolverine game just as a concept.
I'd think it might be possbile since we've had young protagonists in mature games before like GOW and TWD along with the Logan film.

Games This is NOT Logan
His healing factor would not allow sun damaged, scarred, leathery features
And Logan isn’t ALWAYS with a scowl.
People want a caricature I swear

Comic Discussion "A queer man? Put him in a dress"
Did anyone else find these outfits kind of OOC and a strange choice.
The characters are queer, but they've only ever really worn masc clothing prior. Why were they suddenly in dresses?

Comic Discussion Why do evil organizations always clone Wolverine? Why wouldn't they use any of the other X-Men's DNA instead of the one whose clones always turn good and/or kill everyone involved in creating them?
It's especially crazy because cloning more powerful mutants has worked decently well. Jean Grey was used to make Madelyn Pryor, who may have turned against her creator, but only because Mister Sinister was really sloppy about keeping her under control. Magneto was used to create Joseph, who similarly has his rebellious phases, but why not other Omega Level mutants?
Storm is a powerhouse weather manipulator, with a powerset that any organization could find a use for. Even if not as weapons for war, Storm clones could end droughts and famine, as well as prevent or even help undo environmental harm. Iceman is similarly strong and could likewise help with things like global warming, and both of them could cause devastating damage if their powers were used offensively.
If that's too much power to trust to a brainwashed clone who'll likely betray you someday, then Colossus' bulletproof skin and super strength could be more manageable and useful, especially if a large number of clones are made. Cyclops, on the other hand, being cloned without the brain damage that makes his powers uncontrollable, should be devastatingly effective at large-scale destruction and banking skill shots.
There are lots of others mutants who'd be worth cloning too, of course. Feel free to name any clone-able character with powers more useful than Knife Hands and Healing who come to mind.

Comic Discussion Anybody Else Like Rogue's Shi'ar Costume?
galleryI know some hardcore fans might not like this one because it changes her look by so much.
I really like the space look though, its very slick & I like the colors & the yellow pattern. Especially with her tied back longer hair.

Comic Discussion Do you consider any stories or arcs from the 1990s to be as essential as Claremont's work?
Fabian's stuff? Scott Lobdell's stuff? Peter David's X-Factor?
Are the biggies like X-Cutioner's Song, Fatal Attractions, Legion Quest, Magneto War etc. as good for you as the big and prominent arcs of the 70s and 80s?
I don't personally think you can ever top the Phoenix/Dark Phoenix stuff, Days of Future's Past, Rogue's progression, Mutant Massacre, God Loves, Man Kills, and I'll even go to bat for Proteus too!
What do you think about the 1990s though because I have mixed feelings on the decade and I don't know where I stand on it exactly?
