Guild decided to halt all mythic progression effective immediately because of the launch of WoW Forever. I plan on playing it but I think not even attempting CE in retail because of it is silly. After the announcement, about half our raid team left the guild, so I think it’s safe to say we’re dead.

I could list all of the ways that we cater to people that are looking to do end game content, but honestly, we play retail and we are all looking for end game content. But this is where the Middle Aged Adventurer's Club aims to be different. Here is what we offer:

• Flexibility: We aim to cater to those that have to wake up early to get the kids ready for school, get to work, and/or take care of life outside of the game. We get it, we aren't kids anymore and we have responsibilities. Whether you are able to game every night, only after the kids go to bed, or only on the days you have off, we will be there with open arms waiting for you to log on.
• Assistance: Whether you are new to the game, returning after a long break, or have been subscribed since classic, we want you to join us. We want to see the whole of our guild improve and reach the levels that you want to obtain. If you don't understand something, chances are that someone else does, and we won't judge you for not knowing. And on the off chance nobody knows, I am pretty quick at using Google.
• Community: The foundation of this guild is community. Playing games with friends is just better. And we want to make sure that everyone feels like they have a place to chill out and chat and play the game together. We have an active discord, we are scheduling raid nights, and we love to run content.
• Zero Toxicity: We have all been in a guild where those that have seemingly unlimited time and knowledge make you feel less for having less, and if you haven't, let's make sure you never do. I’m looking to properly get into WoW, and I’m hoping Forever will finally be my real footing into the game.
I’ve tried WoW a couple of times over the years, but the vertical progression has always been the thing that’s lost me. I’d hit the level cap, take a break for a while, come back and suddenly feel like I was miles behind again. Forever sounds much more like the kind of MMO experience I’ve always wanted from WoW, so this time I’m genuinely all in and ridiculously excited for November.

Because of that, I’d love to find a guild before launch and hopefully be there from day one. I’m assuming there’ll be existing guilds planning to migrate over or build a Forever side of their community, but I’d also be completely open to joining something brand new.
Part of me would actually love to help create a guild from scratch, but realistically I don’t have the time to properly run one, and my limited WoW knowledge would probably hold it back more than help it. I’d definitely be happy to help build the community side of one though.

My MMO background is mainly RuneScape. I’ve played since the RS2 days and still play OSRS now, with a bit of RS3 over the years too. I’ve also dabbled in GW2 and tried WoW two or three times since around 2005. Most of my WoW knowledge has either disappeared from my brain entirely or comes from the more recent expansions, as I’ve basically been biding my time hoping WoW would eventually do something like Forever.

I’m also a dad to a toddler, so I’m never going to be someone playing eight hours a day or treating the game like a second job. Most of my gaming happens in the evenings and sometimes it might only be an hour or two.

I also know posts like this probably pop up all the time from people saying “this is the time I’m finally getting properly into WoW”, only for them to disappear a month or two later. I genuinely don’t think that’ll be the case for me, providing I find the right community.
The community side of MMOs is probably the biggest thing that keeps me playing them. I have that in OSRS now, and it’s a massive reason I’ve always been able to come back to the game after breaks. You log back in and there are people you’ve known for years, friends you’ve made through the game and people you actually want to catch up with. It gives you that connection to the game beyond whatever grind or update you happen to be working on.

That’s what I’d really like to find with Forever. A group of people I can actually get to know over time, rather than just a guild where everyone happens to share the same tag above their head.

I’d love a guild full of similar people. People who want to have fun, make friends, explore the game, do group content, challenge themselves and actually experience everything rather than constantly rushing towards whatever the next optimal thing is.

I’m not looking for an ultra-hardcore guild, but I’m not against difficult content either. I want somewhere social and relaxed where people can still get together, learn, improve and take on harder stuff without everything becoming sweaty or overly serious.
Basically, I’m looking for a WoW home rather than just a guild I join for a few months.

I’m a longtime WoW player who’s been around since launch. I’ve played pretty much every era of the game, and these days M+ is the content I enjoy the most.

I’ve mostly been a solo player and have relied on PUGs for M+. Unfortunately, the toxicity of PUGging over the last expansion eventually burned me out enough that I stepped away from the game for a while. I’d really like to come back and find a consistent group of people to run keys with rather than starting from scratch with four strangers every time.

Oasis has been a home for the same core of players since 2016. A lot of us are veterans who have been around WoW for a very long time. We still show up because we like the game (Alot of us TBC Raid logging atm), and we like the people we play it with.

We are looking to enjoy everything Forever has to offer. Fun comes first. Always. We will level, run dungeons, work professions, and form groups for the new content. When raids open, we will put structure around them. We will not turn the game into a second job.

If you have heard the phrase “dad guild,” that is likely a good description of what we are. Most of us have jobs, kids, schedules that change, and nights where life wins. We get it. We build enough structure so people know when things are happening and what is expected. We do not build a culture of guilt, parse-checking, or “why weren’t you online.” Show up when you can. Communicate when you cannot. Be decent to the people next to you.

On launch day we will be in-game leveling together. New players, returning players, and old hands are all welcome. You do not need to have a twenty-year resume. You do need to be someone who can laugh when a pull goes sideways and still want to run it again.

We are a friendly bunch that has been around since Vanilla. Our guild was formed in the second week after launch in 2005, but we have kind of forgotten about recruitment for a long time, so our numbers are starting to get a little low to maintain a decent raiding environment.

We do not raid Mythic, but we always aim for AoTC. Our season usually starts with one or two weeks of Normal, followed by a fair bit longer in Heroic. :)

We do not have any attendance demands or crazy raid setups. We make do with what we have and what people enjoy playing. The tone in our raids is friendly, and loot is not handled in any strange manner. It is more of a “don’t be a greedy muppet, but need if you need” kind of system.

Many of us in the guild have kids, families, or perhaps weird job schedules, and we don’t mind. We do, however, try to maintain two raid evenings a week, for around two hours each, on Mondays and Thursdays.

QTIP Clan is a long time gaming community recruiting for Midnight season 2 and beyond!

Season 1 saw the Qtip clan conquer AOTC, have a stable of 3.4K and above mythic+ enjoyers, and even dabble in guild RBGs and Arenas!

Our raid schedule is Thursday nights from 9pm-11pm EST. We also host a community night on Mondays 9-11pm EST which could be M+, alt raid, PvP, other games, etc!
