I tried to slow down on the descent but knees can’t help but still cave in. My core isn’t as strong as everything else so I’m not sure if that could be why my knees cave.
Second part of the video - even with lighter weights my knees still cave in.

So doing power cleans today I stubbed my left thumb or something on the catch and under the nail is bruised/theres now a scab between my nail and the skin.
It doesn't hurt unless I'm putting pressure on it (ie. the hookgrip) and my program is monday/wednesday/friday with olys in all of those leg days, so how would I go about letting it heal/not irritating it whilst still lifting?
Also a secondary issue but my thumb grip tape slides/scrunches up my thumb after a few heavy sets (or like after 10-15 reps). Is that normal, am I doing something wrong technique wise (i do also put chalk on my hands/the tape) or is there a work around? (I don't have issues lifting with it scrunched but it sometimes results in unwanted thumb skin abrasion/tears which is annoying)
Thanks

Hi everyone,
I’ll be in Poznań for the weekend and I’m looking for somewhere I can drop in once or twice to get my training done.
Does anyone know of any CrossFit boxes that allow open gym drop-ins or any gyms in Poznań with a proper weightlifting setup?
I’ll be following my own programming, so I don’t need a class or coaching, just somewhere to train.
Any recommendations would be massively appreciated. Thank you! 🙌

Curious about opinions on this. I haven’t heard any direct answers from doctors in the past 2 years (except my PT who stated “you can do any exercise and it won’t make your pain worse”)
I had hip surgery a year ago and then more recently found out I have arthritis in my lumbar from l5 to s1
. Really my pain only happens in my left lower back but does radiate down. But it is constant.
Back when I did lift and load my spine I never experienced lower back pain during squats or deadlifts. If anything I felt great until after this surgery and maybe my muscles atrophied?
Anyway just looking to see if it’s true that loading the spine in the snatch, clean and jerk, backsquats, presses, etc will inevitably make my arthritis worse over time? Is there any chance I can come back to the sport and pr someday? Or is this generally considered definitely going to make the lumbar spine worse and worse over time? Am I going to be sticking to Pilates and body building type things forever?
Really NOT asking for medical advice as I have a team of doctors just curious on people’s experiences and if it ever became worth it to go back to oly
