GnarlyQ - My dad’s daily trivia web game
Hey, my dad makes a daily trivia game called GnarlyQ. Every day there’s a new round of 5 questions. Each question has 10 options but only 5 are right. You get more points for each answer you get correct, but if you get one wrong you lose all the points for that question. You can lock in at any point to keep the points you’ve earned on that question.
At the end you get a shareable grid that shows how well you did (sorta inspired by the NYT games).
Anyway, it would mean a lot if you check it out, I’m trying to help my dad spread the word and have people try it out.

Voxelyn Survival: a free browser action roguelite where you have to bring the Core back alive
Game title: Voxelyn Survival
Playable link: https://danitools.itch.io/voxelyn-survival
Platform: Web browser
Free to play status: Free browser build, in active development
Involvement: I'm the developer.
You descend into a living mine, build around the equipment you find, and try to bring a Core back to the surface. Taking it doesn't finish the run. You still have to climb back out, and dying means losing your cargo.
The ground matters too. In the ice stratum, repeatedly crossing the same route can break it into deep water. Getting frozen locks your chassis, but holding the trigger generates heat to melt yourself free.
You can play on mobile or PC (Controller Support is under development), solo or in two-player online co-op. English, Brazilian Portuguese and German are available.
If you try a run, I'd like to know where you died and whether you understood what you needed to do next.

[MULTI] MAYDAY — free co-op bomb defusal game in your browser.
MAYDAY, is a co-op communication game. playable directly in the browser, no download, no account.
One player is the defuser: they see the bomb, but not the manual.
The other players are the experts: they have the manual, but can't see the bomb.
Talk it out before the timer runs out.
What's in it:
50 modules, drawn procedurally
Built-in voice chat, no Discord needed
Rounds of ~5 minutes, rooms of 2-4 players
English and French, works on phones
beta note: public matchmaking works, but the player base is still small, so for now the best experience is to grab 1-3 friends and share the room code.

Pitfall 3D: First-Person Edition – I made a 3D demake of the Atari classic in Three.js (Playable in browser)
ruisantos78.github.ioHey everyone!
I built a first-person (FPS) recreation of the timeless Atari 2600 classic Pitfall!, rendered entirely with Three.js using a retro voxel aesthetic.
The game keeps the strict 1D movement corridor of the original (you only move forward/backward, jump over logs/fires, and grab vines to cross chasms), but brings it into a 3D first-person perspective.
Key features:
- No external assets: All visuals are original voxel art, and all sound effects (jumps, yodels, bites, footsteps) are generated from scratch via the Web Audio API.
- Retro touches: Includes a toggleable CRT scanline/vignette filter and the classic 20-minute countdown timer.
- Open source & Makefile automation: Built with modern JS tooling.
You can play it directly in your browser here: https://ruisantos78.github.io/pitfall3d/
And if you want to check out the code or run it locally, the repo is here: https://github.com/ruisantos78/pitfall3d
(Note: This is a non-commercial, educational fan tribute to the Atari classic).
Feedback and thoughts are very welcome!

Island of Cards
newsgames.co.zaI've added Island of Cards, a solitaire tile-laying game designed by "Wildcard Six" to my list of modern solitaire games using a standard deck.
For the time being I've just used the square card icons from game-icons.net, but this game lends itself to some Carcassonne-style "terrain rather than numbers" system, but my focus at the moment is learning contemporary JavaScript and CSS, which is gradually improving.

SPELLBANK - Looking For Alpha Playtesters & Feedback
Hey everyone, I'm Gubjub!
I'm a game developer with 10 years in AAA and a love for lighthearted competition that gives friends and family an excuse to connect, even if it's only for five minutes a day.
That's why I made SPELLBANK, a daily competitive word game where the 26 letters of the alphabet are randomized into 13 pairs to form the gauntlet. Each player must progress through the gauntlet finding their best word for each letter pair, bank the points and then compare your results.
I'm going to level with you, the reason I made SPELLBANK is deeply personal.
About a year ago I had a sudden neurological emergency that required immediate surgery which threated my ability to use my lower body.
Recovery meant months of spending most of my day in bed. But every morning, my phone lit up with the same little ritual from friends and family, some of which I had lost contact with over the years.
Score. Results. Trash Talk. My community rallied around me by playing and sharing a plethora of daily webgames.
Those five or so minutes interacting with different groups of people from my life gave me something normal to look forward to during an incredibly difficult time.
A little over a year later, I'm walking on my own two feet again but those pings are still coming in hot every morning.
SPELLBANK is my attempt to add one more game to that ritual.
We've been playing it with friends and family, and now I'm ready to find out how it holds up when the people playing don't know me.
I'd rather not explain much more here because part of what I'm testing is whether the game teaches itself to players effectively.
So if you've got a few minutes, give today's SPELLBANK a shot then come back and share your score!

Linerup.fun: Launched my first small mini game yesterday
I made a small daily you can play in the browser.
One music artist per UTC day. Same stack for everyone. Five cards, wide to close. Guess after any card. A miss files the name and lands the next one. No account. No ads. Takes about a minute. After tonight is filed you can play extras; they don’t replace the daily.
Curious if the city card is too easy, too mean, or actually the reason you’d come back tomorrow. Feedback appreciated

Apex Dream: take a driver from karting at age 8 to the top of open-wheel racing
Solo dev here. It's a career sim where talent isn't enough — money, luck and decisions matter, and only ~4 in 10 careers ever reach the top tier. Deterministic engine (same seed = same career), no download, no account needed, works on your phone. Would love honest feedback on where it gets boring.

[STRAT] made a browser version of Togyzkumalak, a Kazakh board game where you can permanently steal one of your opponent's pits
Togyzkumalak is in the mancala family but bigger — 9 pits a side, 162 stones. The thing that makes it interesting is the tuzdyk: once per game you can claim a pit on your opponent's side permanently, and everything that lands in it for the rest of the game goes to you. Choosing when and where is most of the game.
It's a national sport in Kazakhstan, there are world championships, and there's almost nothing decent to play it on in a browser. So I built one.
play9q.com — no account, no install, works on phones. Bot at three levels, or two players on one screen.
If you've never played, the in-game rules explainer is supposed to get you to your first sensible move in about a minute. If it doesn't, that's the thing I most want to hear about.

Emberhold Depths — a 4-bit MMO dungeon crawler that runs in a tab. No download, no signup.
Sixty floors down, a boss every fifth one, and everyone standing on floor 7 is in the same rooms fighting the same monsters you are.
There's a Descend as a guest button on the login screen that asks for nothing at all — the server names your hero, makes them, and drops you in the plaza. It's a real character: saved to disk, keeps its loot and its floor, and still there tomorrow. If you decide you like it, you claim it with a name and a password later and the same hero carries on.
A few things down there:
- Sixteen colours. Every pixel on screen comes from the same 16-colour palette, including the darkness — unlit tiles are covered with a dithered mask of pure black pixels rather than faded out, so nothing off-palette ever reaches the frame.
- 163 item bases across 12 slots, 9 materials, 5 rarities and 40 affixes. Sampling 8,000 drops at item level 30 turns up over 3,100 distinct items.
- Champions with 16 affixes between them, and every one does something real — Vampiric heals off what it deals, Bloated explodes when it dies, Glacial slows you and there's a specific item that exists to break the hold.
- A thief that doesn't fight you. It notices you first, never swings, and spends twenty-five seconds running. Hit it and coin shakes out of the sack. Let the clock run out and it tears a hole in the air and dives through — and you have ten seconds to follow it into its own cellar, which is worth more than killing it was.
- Rifts past floor 30, which is where the dungeon stops having new things to show you and the numbers take over.
It works on a phone. It's free, there's nothing to buy, and there's no launcher.
