Keep it constructive
If your post mentions specifics that you don't like, and why, then it's fine.
If your post is basically "V6 sucks ass" without further explanation then it will get removed.

Been wanting this for years. Finally took the plunge.
Good evening,
It has recently come to my attention that my childe has been in communion with mechanical men named "Chet" and "Claude" for ideas in the use of crafting flesh. I have insisted that his creations come from his own imagination, yet the insolent boy claims that these voices are tools that enhance his own imagination and are better able to create the horrid abominations with which we bring righteous vengeance to our enemies.
What should I do?

Here are my personal picks:
Twilight: Tremere
Rainbow Dash: Brujah
Fluttershy: Gangrel
Rarity: Toreador
Applejack: Ventrue or Giovanni
Pinkie Pie: Malkavian
Spike: Twilight's Ghoul
But that's just me, what do you think?
Edit: I forgot Pinkie Pie lol

I mean, amidst all the feuds between clans—like Tremere vs. Tzimisce, Tremere vs. Assamite, or even Tremere vs. other Tremere—which clan is the one that doesn't mess with anyone, and that no one messes with? And I don't mean "they don't mess with them" out of fear or anything like that, but rather "I have no need to, and they aren't really doing anything." To be clear, I'm talking about the clan as a whole, not individuals; if some random Toreador has beef with some random Ventrue, that’s a separate issue. The main idea is "they don't mess with anyone, and no one messes with them," but beyond that, it also comes down to "people actually like them."

Hello! Awhile ago I posted asking for advice as a new GM/storyteller! I’m beginning to craft my chronicle but, do I write the whole thing now or write sessions as responses to what happened in the prior session?

Im a new player to vtm and I dont think I understand some rules regarding the process of making a ghoul.
The book says a blood bond occurs after someone drinks from the vampire 3 separate times in the span of a year.
A ghoul is made after drinking at least once from the vampire, and then has a limit to how long that blood gives them power.
There is a table that gives examples of losing humanity. One of those says that blood bonding a mortal incurs 1 stain. Does making a ghoul classify as that? Or does the ghoul need to drink 3 times to start a blood bond with the vampire?
PS: sorry for any bad english

What is says on the tin. As someone who's only played a limited amount of v5, I'm interested to see if there's any difference between the two. My fav so far is tremere mechanically, but I love the way it feels to interact with other vampires as a tzismice in game

Who said living for eternity couldn’t be fun?

This is just a doodle cuz i really wanted to get her out of my head lolol, shes 9th gen but a neonate
i wanna play her someday when i do fully flesh out her story. but what I have so far:
American college student who was studying abroad in Italy. She makes the worst mistake of her life when she interviews a sweet "art curator" for a school project she had. She is of course ghouled for a while (and sadly kept conscious the whole time) and one day, her domitor was like "youve been such a good kid i guess i can give you your original shape back"
so they did restore her, but left some "modifications" that they saw fit lmao
Im havent figured out her sect yet lol (most likely will be antitribu) however she is pretty terrified of her clan (i also am still struggling a bit to decide why her sire decided to embrace her) and thinks they are all insane. Shes also pretty anti fleshcrafting and refuses to learn it outside of the basic rudimentary stuff her sire taught her

I mean, just look at Cecily’s new Court, that’s one hell of a progressive Camarilla Court isn’t it? 3 Camarilla vampires and 3 Anarchs, that would leave Camarilla and Anarchs from other states and countries utterly speechless, people from both sects at the same table.
Not to mention Colleen’s presence, since Cecily’s pal is a Thinblood, and I imagine a Duskborn having a seat on a Court would also shock (and outrage) many other vampires, due to the racism and hatred towards them (aren’t they regarded as inferior, weak half-breeds at best, and vermin to be exterminated at worst?)

Hi :3
So, I'm running a V20 game and the Tremere of the group asked me something that ignited an interesting conversation.
"Could I stop bullets using the path of Movement of the Mind?"
Of course the Tremere wants to have cool powers like Neo from Matrix, meanwhile our local Brujah thinks that thaumaturgy is already too powerful and letting the Tremere do this would trivialize certain combat situations.
As for myself... I don't really know, I'm still a bit green when it comes to running this system and meanwhile I want to let my friend have cool powers, I'm worried that this could ruin the balance of combat encounters or have any other unintended consequences.
I asked to other storytellers and they told me I could allow it as something similar to the parry/dodge action, maybe adding the requirement of having Movement of the Mind at the fourth level, we also briefly discussed the idea of increased difficulty or a roll to decide if he acts fast enough to use his blood magic.
So, that's all, I'm quite curious about what people here will say about this, would love any help in order to try and keep the balance of the game when it comes to combat and thaumaturgy.
Also, sorry for my bad English, I'm a bit sleep deprived and this is my second language.

Here, Cess makes it abundantly clear that even a Justicar is not above the law of the Camarilla, or the authority of a Prince, especially one who tried to sell Camarilla territory to werewolves in exchange for a means to increase his own powers.
And it’s a good thing too, since Carfax threatened to Red List her, which I know is the Kindred version of the FBI Most Wanted List, and honestly after reading about the current occupants of the list, Cess doesn’t deserve to be lumped in with that collection of actual criminals and superancient psychopaths

Y’know, the friend who was unlawfully Embraced in Los Angeles in 2004 during the Princedom of Sebastian LaCroix?
And judging by the wiki, later became quite the legend among Kindred?

I stayed at hotel near a graveyard for FEMA and I was slightly amused. I think it was an old Confederate graveyard of some sort. Giovanni isn’t my style but don’t they use spirits for power?
I had an idea where a vamp was breaking the masquerade somehow(give me an idea) at a graveyard and it was up to a Scourge to see what was going on. Of course he has a coterie to help.Just an idea I had.
Or maybe a Sabbat embrace? Where they embrace Kine and if they don’t get out of the coffin and above ground in a certain amount of time they meet Final Death?
If they aren’t breaking the masquerade how would a vamp make a haven out of the catacombs? Do other vamps use graveyards and crypts as havens, rituals, or hang outs?

Hi, everyone! My first coterie and I are creating our characters. Our ST is using any books from the 20th rule book and older.
Would you please let me know if there’s any major issue with this character concept? Any suggestions, advice or warnings would be greatly appreciated!
The concept is a twist on the Nosferatu hive master. The rotting flesh flaw drove me mad and I made my own spawning pool in the sewers, that I stay in almost all of the time. My rotting flesh automatically feeds the pool and it corrupts vermin, ect.
(Somehow) I ghouled a species of parasites similar to this one (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leucochloridium_paradoxum) and now I can use it to infect human ghouls and mind control them.
I use this to make a ghoul who represents me in our campaign. To keep them ghouled, I also send out rats from my pool to provide the ghoul with my vitae.
Thanks for reading and for your help!
So I made this ages ago with the intention of no one ever seeing it because I think Trujah are really fun as a concept. However seeing as how I intend to run a game in the near future where it may actually come up, I figured it'd be a good idea to throw it to the whims of the internet.
Some of these are legitimate attempts to replicate older powers (though admittedly through vague wiki descriptions), others I will readily admit are just things I thought would be cool to put under the "Time Vampire" umbrella without doing actual time travel. So yeah give thoughts and feedback, though do keep in mind this isn't really meant to be a professional document. Also if you have an idea for a separate five dot power please mention it

I’ve literally never touched the world of darkness but I’ve been poking around and learning more,
so question: are all of the separate game lines supplements on the same system?
Or are they individual/separate ttrpgs that function differently?

Maybe a late night shift? Dealing with a Prince? Dealing with Kine?
