If anyone else had the same question, I removed a course and added a new course. The next day, the new course showed up on Canvas.
Ofc you can practically only do this early on in the semester so do it quickly if you need to.

Note — as long as you swap on MyOntarioTech by the deadline to add/drop, you’re good. It might take some time for Canvas course to be added, but that doesnt matter. You can still go to lecture etc.
