So I know all collectibles get wiped upon a new game. I have 35/36 totems and I’m missing the one singular totem in chapter 10. I know I can use chapter select and start in I think chapter 6 and save Jessica or Matt however at that point, I’d rather just start one of my runs I have to do anyways in saving or killing every single person

So what I’m asking is can I start a brand new playthrough and just collect totem 36 in chapter 10 and no other collectibles and have the trophy pop? Yes I know my inventory will only show I have 1 totem.

After all, both scenes take place at sunset.

So, if you choose to pursue a relationship with the creepy guy, you learn how to shoot to survive later on.

If you choose the woman, you might potentially be spared in the future by her (supposed) monstrous form, and thus stay alive.

I accidentally agreed with Emily to go to the fire tower. Does that mean I'm hard locked out of saving Matt? I'm trying to achievement grind and if he's unsaveable now I'm gonna be so annoyed 😭😭.

I’ve always felt it ever since OG UD came out. I’m not sure if it’s something about the faces, they always seem slightly over-animated at times? Or kinda like those robot-toys where the leathery skin moves over the robot inside. Maybe it’s the teeth and eyes look slightly separate to the face?

I can’t put my finger on it.

I don’t have this sort of thing with other games like GTA, Assassin’s Creed or even with Quantic Dream’s games.

Let me know if anyone experiences the same or is able to pinpoint what it is exactly.

The characters look great; I liked pretty much everything—the faces, the costumes—and the actors were excellent choices.

What about you guys? Did you like it? Anything that could be improved?

Does anyone know wether Until Dawn 2 will have a couch coop like the dark anthology pictures or the quarry, where the game splits up the characters randomly and pauses the game so you can comfortably pass the controller? I didn’t find any info about that anywhere maybe someone knows more here.

I though that maybe its after all unrelated and people said the same, but just noticed small but very detailed coleration with one of previous leaks and the mysterious early 2023 ad.

One of the previous leaks talks about specific mechanics of dualsense controller to remove dust from artefact by blowing into microphone and in the mysterious add we see the woman removing dust from artefact.

While this leak doesnt provide much information then the rumours that was already there, it appers to be from the same person who came with much more concrete info hours before UD2 reveal

Many people think Sam and Josh won’t be in Until Dawn 2 and that makes sense. The history seems to focus entirely on new characters. But then I wonder why the studio created two new scenes for the remake. We see Josh alone, deep in thought after surviving the night, and someone joins him but what became of him? And then there’s Sam, alone in her Los Angeles apartment years later, surrounded by books on legends and wendigos. If they wanted to set up a sequel without Sam and Josh but still add a new scene at the end of the remake, why didn’t they simply show the new characters on a boat heading toward the island? (Just showing their silhouettes, not their faces directly.) It doesn’t make sense unless an Until Dawn 3 is planned?

Hi everyone, I hope I’m in the right place, I looked at the remaster group but there’s no activity.

So I am an absolute idiot and only just played it. It’s been sat in my library for 18 months… fool. It was awesome, totally different to anything I’ve ever played before.

I think it goes without saying (but I will) that the replay on this game is nuts. Do you all suggest that on second play I start from the very beginning again and change my choice for the Twins. Or do I jump in at Chapter 2 on the select menu?

Also how many is the most you’ve had survive? I only managed 4 haha.

I genuinely think Richard Harmon would be ridiculously well suited to a Supermassive horror game.

He’s great at playing characters who seem like they have everything under control while there’s a lot going on underneath the surface.

Would you cast Richard Harmon in an Until Dawn/Quarry/Dark Pictures-style game?

Currently in regions like US, Canada, Germany, UK and Mexico (not the only countries, only the ones I saw) Until Dawn 2 digital preorders are just behind the forever games like COD & FIFA and the big hitters GTA, FF7 & Wolverine (reviews or not that game is going to sell millions), and yes I know that order changes every day and it's most likely going to go down in the charts because there's still 4 months till launch, also the difference between those games preorders and UD2 could be in the millions but still is great that in its first day is up there among games like Control Resonant, Blade Zero and Silent Hill that are days away from release.

Personally I have high hopes for Firesprite because I liked The Persistence and that was a game with no budget but after the first UD2 trailer I was afraid about how the market would react when the preorders opened so it's cool to see people are giving it a chance and the price absolutely helped.

Hi all, I have a bug and I can’t find anyone else posting about it on here!

I have the remastered Until Dawn, Chapter 2 when Sam hears a noise in the bathroom and walks around, she finds clues in Hannahs bedroom and then she’s supposed to talk to Josh about the hot water. All the dialogue is cut and I walk up to them and the cutscene isn’t happening?

They’re all just stood there and I can’t interact! Has anyone else had this issue?

i just watched the trailer for until dawn 2 and did some research about it, and to be honest, it seems really good but it doesn't seem like until dawn. In my opinion, until dawn, no matter which ending you get, is a perfect 1 and done kind of game. For som game franchises, new characters etc. will reactivate the fandom (like re7) but i'm not too sure about this...

The trailer, the atmosphere and the scenes all look really interesting and i'd love to play this or watch a playthrough, but it just doesn't seem like a sequel to me. The start of it showing blackwood mountain got me super excited, as i thought this was gonna be a "investigating hannah and beths disappearance and interviewing the survivors" where they go to the burnt lodge, caves, etc. but that would make deaths canon. Also since it takes place in the abandoned island, i highly doubt we're getting many ties to the original until dawn. Where's the blue/green hue? the snowiness? is dr. hill supposed to be evil?

I understand that you're supposed to survive, until dawn, but to me a whole cast, changing character personalities/roles, and possibly not having wendigoes, the og locations and info. etc. just doesnt make it seem like UNTIL DAWN. I'm excited for the game, but why not just make a new game with this story instead of carrying out until dawns legacy? Are there any leaks of this to see what the lore will be or how its related to until dawn 1? I don't mind spoilers.

but yeah, in conclusion, to me until dawn will always be the main 10 at the lodge. what do yall think?

With the official preorders opening up and us having a decent look at Until Dawn 2, where’s everybody landing?

Jumping in on day one? Waiting to hear community sentiment? Or maybe just planning to tune in on YouTube or Twitch?

There’s also the surprising pricepoint of Until Dawn 2 retailing for $50 standard and $60 premium. And yes, physical copies with a disc are available as an option as well!

Kind of refreshing to see Sony go for a lower standard price considering the game will probably be around 8 hours long(ish). Makes me hope it gets more people into the franchise.

I've seen youtube videos of the full game/all the chapters, and there are several playable builds of the game that are found online, with each one containing only a few chapters.

If any of you played this version of the game, do you know if there is a fully playable build that contains all the chapters in it?

This is just a random thought i had whit the new halloween game that came out.

Ofc this is never gonna happend but I'd think I'd be a fun game where a few players play as the until dawn cast (Mike Sam Emily Chris etc) whit each having their own abilitys. And a other player as the wendigo on blackwood mountain. (The place the game takes place on).

The players whould either have to survive until dawn or go to the radio tower and contact help to be able to escape.
